From the Author
"Living behind the veil" is when you step back and forth between your light world and your dark one, your light side and your dark side. As a part-time practitioner of romantic BDSM, lifting the veil between the two worlds is what you do to leave your daytime persona behind and enter the world of exotic, erotic fantasies and the shadowland of your secret erotic mind.
The midnight-purple world you have already begun to explore is filled with mystery and illusion, fantasies and delight, and sexual ecstasy. You have developed one--or more!--of your dominant personas, have improved your skills, and vastly expanded your playtime repertoire. For you, sensual dominance has become your own private planet where everything is the way you would have it, the three moons in a deep purple sky and the loving torture included.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone wishing to step behind the dark curtain, and into the private world of BDSM. From people who are just starting out, to those who may have a little more experience, and want some extra ideas, or to polish their existing practices. However, this book would be a bit redundant for a very experienced Domina, and would probably be unhelpful, or only mildly informative. For anyone who's a beginner to intermediate in the world of BDSM, this book is very useful, and should definitely be looked into.
Ms Varrin presents SM activities in such a way that her enjoyment and pleasure simply ooze from the pages. I recommend this book to young and old, new and experienced hoping that like I did, they learn something.
