Format: Hardcover
Great book and so useful for the research that I am doing, but like the other reviewer I cannot understand the high price, even for the used copies. I borrowed it from my university library and would love to own a copy, but the price is really prohibitive. The content is great, especially Levesque-Lopman who gives a detailed description of her research and applies Husserlian phenomenology in her methodology in a very accessible way. There is not a lot of literature out there on feminist phenomenology in this practical sense. The book does however require that you become familiar with, if not so already, with many of the key concepts and writings of Husserl in order to fully benefit from this great collection of papers.

why the impossible price? there are enormous hardback handbooks on phenomenology that cost less. I would love to get my hands on this book. but at this price, I cannot imagine who can afford to read it. i can tell by the combination of authors that it is just what i need for the work I'm doing, and it looks like a great update since the first. but what a bummer it's been made too expensive to access.
