The Femmeze may be most effective where a woman has been advised by a clinician to use her fingers 'digitation' to realign the rectocele.
If a woman has a rectocele and is considering using the Femmeze it is strongly advised to seek a medical opinion to ascertain that the Femmeze may be of help with the grade and position of the rectocele.
Supplied with an appropriate carry case for hygiene and ease of use.
A demonstration / instructional video is available to view on the Femmeze product page on the MDTi website and also via YouTube.
IMPORTANT: Not for use when the rectocele is visible outside of the vaginal opening. It is not advised to use the Femmeze during pregnancy unless advised by your clinician.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse (Rectocele)
A significant number of women suffer with a long-term and distressing condition commonly referred to as a pelvic organ prolapse (Rectocele).
The condition occurs when the bowel herniates forward through into the vaginal cavity, obstructing the bowel from emptying normally.

Hygienic and Discrete
Women with this condition have previously had to use their fingers to re-position the rectocele to align the bowel wall for voiding, this is an unpleasant process requiring good dexterity which poses added problems with age.
The Femmeze is designed to overcome these issues around managing a rectocele.

This tool is meant for helping you go to the bathroom, this is not intended for people who expirience a rectal prolapse. I was excited when I heard about this product because for the past year the only way I could go to the bathroom even partially was the stick my finger up my rectum, hold it in place while pushing against a rectocele. This tool- is inserted vaginally- which means that if you have a prolapse- it will only push it out. Regardless of my experience- I still think this is an amazing tool that more women need knowledge on. I know the depletion of self respect and draining realization it’s time to go to the bathroom- and this product is amazing to even exist. Now, for the comfort of it, it’s smooth so there is no discomfort or pain from the actual texture of it. I will say, it’s awkward when first trying but the more you practice with it it becomes like riding a bike. Anyone that may have pelvic floor pain will feel a bit more of a pressure sensation when inserting, but when it’s glided in (with or without the sterile lubrication included) and you figure out how to maneuver it to push against the right spots, you will feel like a new woman and I hope gain more courage going to the bathroom. Just remember as weird or uncommon you think your situation is- there’s someone else out there who’s going through it as well.
It was annoying to have to wash hands before and after, and I find washing device and hands after to be better.
The device was a bit bigger than I had first thought- but this is great as it helps push the tissues back into the rectum much better than my fingers could. It is not uncomfortable in any way, and the size is perfect. I rarely write reviews, but came to write this one. I’m in US and shipping took a bit, would be nice to have this product available in the US. It should be at pharmacies and drug stores everywhere.
I’m very thankful for this product and my goodness it’s not expensive considering how much it helps.I’m not sure if this will help everyone else but I also take fiber pills to bulk it up and keep it softer.Pain free and so very grateful I found this product.THANK YOU!

I wanted a non invasive aid which I could control myself.
I bought this product as a gamble, sticking a thumb in the vagina can be awkward whilst emptying bowel and bladder. The instructions are helpful.
Used it with no trouble. Urination was also easier with no pinching to the urethra. I did not need lubricant, I put this down to adequate HRT, very important in maintaining the health of genitals. Those women who cannot use systemic hormones should ask for vaginal estriol cream from their GP.
Device is so simple to use. I was annoyed by one thing. This was developed by the NHS to help women. Great idea, however cost is high for a piece of moulded plastic. I can afford it but many women will hesitate to buy it.
Simple to clean, nicely designed.
If you are confident with your own body, it will be a good deal easier to use.

Why did I take off a star? The price. Honestly at this price it should come with a hygienic hard plastic case. Not the silly faux velvet cheap bag that is included.
