I should not have been suprised by the quality of this guitar given the price and must say I felt a bit mislead by the other review posted. The guitar does look good but the sound and workmanship are terrible..no sustain and a very annoying buzzing sound from the interior framework can be heard with every note played. I would recommend looking at some of the other less expensive models...quality of this instrument is very low.

Looks great on the stand, very convenient size for pick-up-and-play moments.
Doesn't cost an arm and a leg, so you can jam on it!
Pretty decent sound for an inexpensive guitar.
It's much better than a used old piece of junk that would cost you about the same.
New workmanship is better in this case, rather than old stuff that could break, like tuners, terrible action on the strings, etc.
All around fun guitar to play!

I love this guitar! I have small hands, and my hands fit well around the neck. This guitar has a tone that is surprisingly warm and beautiful for such a small guitar. No "twanging" whatsoever. My spouse who is quite an accomplished musician, plays this often too, believe it or not, and he is also impressed by this guitar's tone. Highly recommend, as we have had and played many different guitars and brands over the years. If there was anything left to want, it is that we wish this little guy had pickups in it. Oh well, it is still a great guitar, and great for beginners and experienced alike. I see that some on here have said their guitar sounds terrible, etc. It is true that in mass produced instruments where quality control isn't absolutely top-notch, that there may be a few that get through that are less than par. Perhaps some need a proper "set-up", or adjustment. It may or may not help, depending on the guitar's issue. But we can say with certainty that the fender ESC80 we purchased is a great instrument for the money and great sound.

this little guitar sounds great, is small and easy
to take around. It came with a really nice black
cover (soft). I am really out of shape and am
using this to get "up to speed". The small
size fits my small abode; I can take it with me
in my car too. I'm very happy with this instrument.
It was really really well boxed...Boxes within boxes
within boxes!! Not a nick or scratch on it. Came
in a timely manner.
