With that said, the quality of the sound effects as well as just the pure sound output from this is quite solid and offers a very warm, almost pure tube sound while being solid state.
You could use this amp for a small to medium sized show on its own. It's great for practice. After understanding how to navigate the menus, the sky is the limit!

I found this a great way to explore the sounds of various pedals and effects without having to buy them. The sound quality is very good. You can explore sounds with this amp as much as you want or don't want. If you just want to play, pick a sound, tweak it, and ignore the rest. If you want to explore different sounds, you can do that too. I've spent hours experimenting with the Fender emulations and pedal sounds and learning the amp. I've hardly touched the other types of amps yet. If I ever want to get a stage amp, I'll pretty much know what sound I want. If you want to get even more into creating/exploring sounds, you can move up the Mustang GT line. They are much more capable and versatile, but more expensive too. I give Fender kudos for creating this amp. It's built well, sounds good, and provides a wonderful way to explore at low cost.
The LT25 also gives you a USB out port that you can connect to a PC. This is a great learning tool. With some free audio editing software like Audacity, you can make high quality recordings of your playing for critical evaluation. All in all, a great learning tool.
It looks like many reviewers are expecting this amp to sound like 5k$ amp.
It sounds great for what it is - practice amp! Very easy to use and the menu is easy to navigate and adjust presets. Sound quality is very personal, but for me it sounds good! I really like "clear fender sound" preset and "silky solo" preset - I use this two presets all the time! It sounds crystal clear to me. I tried all of the presets and many of them sound very good as well, but I don't think I will use them for guitar lessons.
I am still waiting for pedal, hasn't received it yet.
My amp came with old firmware which was 1.0.10. I have upgraded it to 1.0.14. You can download it from fender website, new firmware fixes issues with foot switch, so in case you will use fender pedal, you will need to flash new firmware
I have also tried recording one song using my Windows 10 PC and it worked really well, I used Audacity app, to for recording. No issues at all.
I tried playing my acoustic guitar as well, after tweaking equalizers on the guitar - it sounded very good! I am sure that special acoustic amp will sound way better, but I cant say the sound was bad and unusable. It was rich enough pleasant to my ears, also one of the presets called "Acoustic SIM", so I tried it with acoustic guitar and it sounded really good :)
So in short, I really like this amp and definitely for me its a keeper. Great value for money.

Simple to figure out and use, fills the room with everything from Johnny Cash to Heavy metal (and everything in between). Lose the pedals, buy this amp and kick your game up!
PS... spend the extra 20 and buy the Fender one button foot switch, this amp is made for it.
The LT-25 is easily double the price, double the size, and double the value. Usually there's other amplifiers that have more or better features in the same price range but none of them were available on Amazon (preferred vendor, I don't pay for Prime to not use it) but I'm still very pleased with this.
The 30 preloaded presets that Fender includes with the amplifier are decent and you can modify those presets to your liking, but you also get an additional 30 blank slots that you can use to store your own custom presets so you'll never have to re-dial all of your settings. The other features (such as USB for recording onto a computer/laptop, aux and headphone sockets, FTSW, etc.) are pretty typical of many amplifiers in this price range.
Its size and weight doesn't prevent it from being portable; it's not too heavy or bulky but you still wouldn't want to carry it around town like a shopping bag.
