These strings have worked great for me and my style.
I do a lot of tuning changes when I play, mostly for Slide Guitar and Drop Tuning for Hard Rock.
These Fender 9's stand up to all of the tuning changes and they remain accurately tuned longer than other strings I've used.

Choosing The Right Gauge
String Gauge can play an important role in how efficiently your instrument performs. Typically thicker gauges provide a hotter output, more low-end frequency response, and overall a richer tone.
The gauge also greatly effects the string tension on your guitar which can alter how difficult your guitar is to play. If the tension is too light it can cause tuning stability issues, if it’s too heavy it can make it too difficult to bend notes. A good general rule of thumb is to see what gauge strings your guitar manufacturer placed on the instrument out of the factory and try that first.
It’s also important to note that if you go super-heavy with strings you may have to file your nut for the strings to seat properly. Once this is performed, the guitar will no longer be in optimal condition to move down in gauges. So it is recommended to start on the lighter side and move upward until you find your sweet spot. Scale length of your guitar can also play a large part in string tension and the smaller the scale typically the heavier gauge string you want.

Perfect for Squier Strats of any model

I played both my Squire Bullet and Vibe 60 with the strings they originally came with; both had Fender NPS 9's on them. They were decent enough, but never really much to make me want to buy more sets for my restring.I then changed my mind at the last minute, when theses same strings were on a very good sale price. After restringing both with the new NPS 9's, both guitars sounded like they had just been given a $10,000 upgrade! Worth noting is that during the string replacements, I also cleaned and polished the frets, as well as oiled the fret board. But I suspect the original strings the guitars came with were already a bit beat from wear n tear during their warehouse stay, and also suffered a bit from the shipping process.If you own any of the Squire series guitars, and you're not 100% sure what to go with, give some fresh Fender NPS's a try. I think they're good strings, make that better than average strings for the price!

At under a fiver for a set of decent strings like this, I can have no further excuses.
9 gauge is perfect for my style and the sound is nice and bright.
The usual Fender colour-coded ball-ends is always a handy and reassuring feature. too.
Terrific product at a great price.

Bought a second set, as I was lucky enough to win an eBay auction for a second-hand Fender Telecaster. All it needed was a little adjustment of the bridge saddles and, of course, a new set of strings and, once again, these were absolutely perfect.
