Damned elastic waist band....curvy girl problems

Bought in size medium and small (I am 5'2 , 125lbs, 27" waist). Unfortunately returning both, I really wanted to love these! The material felt soft and comfy.

The mediums were too long and the waist seemed a little loose. The smalls fit great up until the elastic waist band. Yep. That little thing dug right into me and gave me the most unflatering muffin top. I carry most of my weight in my hips and thighs which usually makes it a challenge when choosing between small or medium sizes. The struggle!

I can't say these are terrible leggings since I do realize I'm pretty much in between sizes. Maybe I'll give these a shot another time....either when I gain or lose a little more weight lol.

These are sooooooo soft!!! I haven't tried working out in them yet or anything, but I think these are the softest leggings I own... I'm 5'7" 145lbs and I got a small. I think they'll be squat proof too, but lighting in my room may not be the best to see. I'm excited to have some comfy leggings with pockets too!
