Somewhere along the line, racing seats got something right that office chairs missed. Believing the attractive aesthetic, the supportive polyurethane foam core, or the freedom to fully recline, the team at RapidX incorporated all three features—and many more—into their Ferrino line of gaming and lifestyle chairs.
From the Manufacturer
The Ferrino’s powernap-friendly backrest reclines to 155 degrees—further than the vast majority of office and lifestyle chairs on the market. When you need to rest, put on your eyeshades or your virtual reality headset and have a revitalizing rest in the most convenient location imaginable: your current one. Simply slip off the lumbar support pillow, use the car seat style lever to recline to your desired angle, and recharge.
Designed for style and comfort, complete with removable lumbar and neck support pillows, a five-point caster wheel base, multi-directional adjustable armrests, and distinctive diamond-patterned stitching, the Ferrino gaming and lifestyle chair will support you and your sense of style whether you’re writing business reports, gaming, using it as a mechanic shop seat, or watching sports.
The RapidX Ferrino gaming and lifestyle chair combines sound ergonomics with striking qualities from racing culture. The result: a sporty, custom-colored office chair with the vibe of a Ferrari revving its engine on the starting line of the Formula One World Championship Race.
Inspired by professional harness bucket seats, the RapidX Ferrino features an attractive, customized exterior that conceals its orthopedically and ergonomically designed core.
With its alluring high-contrast color options, diamond-patterned stitching and five-point caster wheelbase, this office and lifestyle chair will support your back and your flair for style whether you’re at work, at play, or engaged in one of your hobbies. It’s time to sit down and stand out.
Describe your product in 3 words.
Design. Adjustability. Comfort.
How did you come up with the idea for this product?
Having owned a lifestyle furniture company in the past, as well operating a gaming company for 20+ years paved the way for my next endeavor. The actual idea for RapidX was born when my office chair broke. Right then, I realized that I wanted to create something that expressed a perfect blend of lifestyle, technology, and quality. I took an actual car seat out of an old favorite car and fitted it to a chair base. Not only was it comfortable, but also received many compliments on its unique style. Friends and family started asking me to build identical chairs for them.
What makes your product special?
RapidX made a conscious decision to rise above the norm of chair manufacturing. This is based on prioritizing cost-effectiveness with a more mindful approach to materials and design standards. Unlike the costly and unattractive ergonomically designed chairs, RapidX’s chair lines not only looks amazing, but also inspires your playful inner child.

>The chair is comfortable if you're sitting just right and or the right shape.
>The chair is sturdy. (Not counting the upper arm rests which only time will tell.)
>The included lumbar and neck support pillows are moveable and adjustable.
>Chair came with two punctures in the back rest one near where the left elbow would be when sitting, the other above where the left cover plate snaps on. These don't seem to be from shipping as the product was packaged well and no packaging was damaged.
>The mechanism to adjust the back rest is somewhat exposed on the top.
>Doesn't have a full tilt lock for the seat base. Only able to lock into upright position.
>The groves on the sides of the seat base seem like they will be a dust and dirt trap.
She's been sitting in it now and absolutely loves it. She has adjusted it every which way to find a setting the fits her perfectly and has been very happy with this early Christmas present!
The only thing that I would deduct for (which she and I argue about a little bit) is that the padding on the armrest is a bit more firm than I like. Since it wasn't for me I'm rating it 5 stars because the recipient loves it so much!
BTW, I own a DXRacer and feel that gives me a great comparison for this chair. For me the DXRacer is slightly better because it has a model to fit me, I'm 6'3" but I feel this chair is very close in build quality, styling, and hopefully durability!
Does not feel like a $300 chair: very disappointed!
The good - Durability is excellent after a year is good as new
The bad - Is not comfortable or ergonomic at all, I have an office chair as well, and I end up switching to the office chair (I go back to use this chair only because I cannot believe I wasted 350 dollars on it, so I always try to give it another chance). The "adjustable" cushions are not ergonomic at all; it does not matter that you can adjust the height of the cushion since they are thick, so it is always uncomfortable. I keep leaning forward or removing them altogether; removing the lower back is even a worse option since the chair creates an arc that makes it even worse for my back
The headrest makes my headrest in an awkward position
For the armrest, I had to improvise sleeves because after an hour of using the armrest my elbows hurt
I tried everything with the cushions, but I did not find a way to make the chair comfortable.
I am looking to sell or use the Amazon trade-in program to try to get some of my money back.
Packaging was great since everything was kept neatly in a giant box but obviously it's very heavy. Nothing was visibly damaged but I must say assembly was more challenging than I thought. I do recommend watching their assembly video in conjunction with the instructions it comes with. I ran into a few problems with the assembly. The adjustable lever jammed somehow and was stuck until I yanked on it hard. Also the wheels are a hassle to attach because it took alot of effort to push them into the base (the video makes it seem alot easier than it actually is...). The whole process took longer than usual and I was tired by the end.
The quality of the material is very nice. It has a premium feel that you would expect from the seat of a sports car. I love that the armrests are adjustable. The material is a little hard but after sitting on the chair for several hours, I didn't notice any pain or discomfort.
Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. Everything functions properly and the chair is comfortable enough to sit in for long periods of time. If you can get through the annoying assembly process, you'll have a sturdy and high quality gaming chair.
In addition, to the comfort, it's really a stylish chair and the color goes perfectly with my newly remodeled office. I would recommend this chair to anyone looking for style and comfort.
