Dr Roberts turned out to be a genius of sorts: large animal veterinarian, writer, lay about, native plant expert. Dr Roberts died just a few years ago, well into his 80's.
This book is a good complement to your primary Baja plant guide. The authors give the family and species, and also list medical uses if any, and helpful Spanish names. I recommend buying this book because every single plant was identified by the authors in the field. He breaks Baja into zones and lists the plants in that zone, one of which will be where you are.
