Assured Elites is a new matchmakers company that matches famous people for a fake relationship. The first two people who get matched are Traven and Drew. Drew’s band recently broke up and he wants to go solo now. His label wants him to be more in the media and a relationship can help him achieve that. Traven was a famous actor when he was a child, but now he’s poor and no longer famous. He wants to be an actor again and being in the media can help him. Both men have their reasons for choosing a fake relationship.
Drew and Traven go out and connect easily. They feel comfortable with each other and don’t mind kissing each other. They go out on a few more dates. They grow closer and like each other more with each date. It doesn’t take long before the fake relationship becomes a real one.
I really liked Traven and Drew. Both of them are passionate, talented, creative, charming and caring. They are a perfect match. They will always help and support each other. I adored them together.
For a book, quite lengthy at 30 chapters, I found no more than one or two teeny misses in the proofreading. Really not enough to even mention. This was great.
A sweet little romantic suspense with two (almost juvenile) guys displaying outstanding maturity and determination to get to the bottom of a problem at hand.
These two, having been thrown together for the sake of nothing but publicity, totally duped the "system" by making an instant connection to one another.
This did not come across as icky-tacky "instalove" as we so often see in romance these days, but the author, in her professional and intelligent writing, actually made this delightfully believable... with a few sweetly humorous moments thrown in.
As the romance blossoms, so secrets emerge, building into an exciting, edge of your seat suspense story, and ultimate solution very cleverly executed.
Standalone story with an adorable HEA.
Steamy scenes (and the build-up to such) very tastefully done without being overly explicit, or unnecessarily frequent.
Heat level about 3.
I highly recommend this read. I absolutely loved it!
