If history lessons had been this entertaining, I would have scored an A+!

I loved this book. It’s entertaining and even informative in an Antiques Roadshow kinda way, it's also got good amounts of intrigue, murder, general mayhem and even a little romance. I ploughed through it because I was always keen to know what happened next. Would Sarah get home okay and would she survive in the different time periods? I thought the way the author painted pictures of the various periods, was excellent. After reading just a few carefully written words, I found myself in the moment, there with Sarah and experiencing the strangeness right along with her. I agree with Sarah, Mr Grey is an arse!

Can’t wait for the follow up book, so please hurry up and write it.

Kirsten Mckenzie has written an excellent foray into historical fiction. I'm honestly not quite sure how she was able to keep up with and integrate the different settings, time periods, and characters without losing her place. But she managed it magnificently. Its a unique and engaging method of story telling and the first time I have seen it used with historical fiction, but it might not be for everyone. If you enjoy historical fictions, then step up to a great one. If you prefer a slower character development, then the dynamic style of this story may not be for you. But if you are looking for a refreshing change of pace, then don't miss Kirsten's work.

I was pleasantly surprised by the way Fifteen Postcards took me into Sarah's world and then allowed me to explore time with her. I stayed up into the wee hours because I really wanted to know what happened. I found myself really cheering her on and her emotions and reactions echoed what I would feel chucked into older more misogynistic times! Now I have to impatiently wait for book two so I've signed up to the blog...http://www.15postcards.com/Fifteen_Postcards/The_Blog/The_Blog.html

Well Done Kirsten McKenzie! I absolutely loved this book.
You drew me in to Sarah's world and what a world it was! The weaving of your writing was so clever and I just couldn't stop turning pages....
The story line intrigued me and I originally thought it may have got a little obscure but the talent of the story teller left me wanting more and enveloped me into the story with open arms.
The ending wasn't at all what I expected - again clever writing left me hanging till the last page!
Highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. The historic facts are well researched, you feel as if you're there with Sarah because the descriptive nature of the words absorb you into each historic period ... It's the type of book you look forward to reading every night, in fact I found excuses to go to bed early just to read... but in the end when halfway through I couldn't put it down and finished it off in one sitting..... and now I'm left wanting more .....I need to know what happens to Lord Grey and especially the Raja and where is Sarah? I'm really looking forward to the sequel ... please Kirsten tell me there is a sequel.

Fantastic book! I loved every minute of it, I read it in just over a day! Even though Sarah usually spends a small amount of time in each century, Kirsten makes sure that you know enough about each new character to make it even more intriguing and upset when she leaves and goes back to present day. I can't wait for the sequel, hurry up! :)

Now this is not really the genre that I choose to read, however a friend convinced me to give it a go and I was extremely pleased that I did! Great pace, brilliant lead character and some entertaining moments. Well researched historical events and the author obviously has a great knowledge of a wide variety of antiques. The language was beautifully descriptive and I certainly have a picture in my mind of items, people and locations. An ending that left me eager to pre-order the sequel!
