This movie is like a bad Disney movie where the couple fall in love after knowing each other for two seconds. It glorifies what should be recognized as RED FLAGS in a relationship (not talking about the consensual sex play that used condoms - that was about the only thing I thought they did well). What I'm talking about is how he is immediately too intense, giving way too much attention, gifts, flights, etc to someone he just met (i.e. classic love-bombing technique used by abusers), he's controlling of her schedule, super possessive, randomly and uninvited-ly shows up where she is to "check" on her and has a string of previous relationships. This is NOT a romance, this is how predators work. I kept yelling RUN GIRL RUUUN throughout the movie. Also, the writing was just bad (I felt embarrassed for them). It was the same play-out trope (i.e. poor, timid girl meets insanely rich, overly-assertive dude who instantly wants "only" her . . . blah blah boring).
