Fantastic read, and an instant favorite.
Still this book with its great and unique story telling was such a great read I could barely put it down! Love this author and am about to buy another piece of his work to read while I drink rum out of a mason jar on this deserved lazy day!
Just kidding! This is a great book full of very memorable meaningful quotes that make you think. If you're considering this book because you saw the movie or heard of it, buy this. It is so much more detailed than the movie and there are a few major differences, but I won't spoil those for you. Chuck Palahniuk has such a unique writing style that keeps you wanting more and you can never guess what happens next because it is never anything you would expect to happen. This is one of the few books I can reread a hundred times and take something different away from it every time. It's a really quick read, as well. I finished it on a 4 hour flight from Louisville to Las Vegas.
The narrator creates an alter ego that even he doesnt know it exists in which he counts to be able to send into oblivion everything he hates about the standars and way of approved living on our cirrent society.
