This contents of this book is most from Imperial War Museum and other personal accounts. It is pretty accurate in that part. But it is not so accurate in US Navy operations, especially in Battle if Coral Sea and Battle of Midway. I believe the author uses materials from official communiques for most US Navy operations, which is not what really happened precisely.
