Started a kickboxing class and wanted some cheap shin pads that I could beat up. Took a chance on these, and unfortunately they will not fit my larger calves, even though I got the L/XL.
They are a slip on design that you have to put on like a sock, with adjustable Velcro straps at the top and halfway down the calf so you can get a better fit. They are too tight for my big calves and the shin length is on the short side. The padding seems thick and they are well made, but there could have been more info on sizing and more product photos.
If you are taller than 5'8" and/or have large calves, this will not work for you.
