I am very satisfied with this stick! I had a Qanba Q4 that I purchased about three years ago, and I finally decided to get another stick with the release of street fighter 5. I had never used a Mad Catz stick before, but I have only heard positive reviews about it there products. I am very happy with the stick. The chassis is very durable, sturdy and it doesn't feel cheap. The ease of customization for the stick is top notch as well. I love it! It is a bit pricey, but I believe it's worth the extra $70 premium or so for the product that it is. Very happy!!!

Was looking around to see what stick I'd want as my first fight stick, decided to go with this and see how it would work for me.

I use this fight stick on PC. Drivers are available at the mad catz website.

Appearance - The overall appearance of the entire thing is pretty nice, the plastic doesn't look in any way cheap or flimsy. Feels strong and looks clean. Very easy to open up, dont need to unscrew anything to get a look inside of it so it's very easy to swap any components out if you'd desire. Some reviewers were/are reporting some part of it to creek/squeak(?) Mine doesnt have this issue. The bottom part of the the entire "pad" has material that will keep it from slipping around on tables or most surfaces.

Stick and buttons - Both the stick and buttons feel pretty good ALTHOUGH I will say that I wish the buttons had a bit more of a -clicky- feel to it in that... I wish I could feel them "click" every time I pushed down on them. They're fine the way they are but I'm very certain I will swap them out later on down the road. Stick feels good, although it comes with a square gate, thought it came with an octagonal one but I'll just learn how to play it with the square.

Art - What's there to say about this? It's the official Ryu Capcom art, it's nice, easy to swap out.

Weight - It's a lot heavier than I thought but it's not heavy enough that you'd say it'll be annoying to have in your lap for an extended period of time. You certainly wont have it slipping out of your lap either.

Once again to make it clear, this is my first fight stick, I am no professional and am merely a casual player. Decided to get it for the sake of wanting to have one and learn it. I can certainly pull off moves I otherwise was unable to with a controller. First day, no issues. I'll update it later on and see how things continue to go for me.

Great arcade stick! Very responsive, premium feel but not heavy, great padding, and functions great. My shipment arrived a day early! Why do ppl give this a bad rating based on shipment problems. This is my first arcade stick and it is great! I broke it in and im loving everything so far. I did wish there was a audio jack.
Note: if you are new to using a fight stick be prepared to do massive training until you build muscle memory. If you are not willing to do this you MAY not like a arcade stick. Its a different feeling compared to a gamepad or playstation 4 controller.

Took me back to my childhood!

Unboxing this fight stick was like Christmas morning as a child. Reminded me of unboxing my PS4! The packaging looks great, and it was easy to open. You can look at pictures of this thing all you want, but when you see it IRL and get it in your hands, this fight stick looks and feels fantastic. It has some weight to it, but it makes it feel very secure. Even though a lot of it is plastic, nothing feels cheap. This thing is a tank!

As the description says, this fight stick is super easy to mod. There are several YouTube videos showing you how to modify it, and the stick itself comes with directions. I'm not a competent handyman by any stretch of the imagination, but I've modified mine a fair amount and will do more in the future, I'm sure.

There is a learning curve when it comes to switching to a fight stick. If you use this for Street Fighter V, expect to spend time in training mode learning the basics again, but once you start to understand the mechanics, it all comes together nicely. You will have to invest a lot of time into it, but the return is an amazingly rewarding feeling. Some people prefer a fight stick to the controller, but it goes both ways. There are pros that still use a controller so stick to whatever is comfortable to you. I will say that, for me, a fight stick feels more natural. I'm sure there are people that feel the opposite. The fight stick has elevated my ability higher than it was before, but that's because I've put more time into learning the game and how to use the stick.

Using a fight stick took me back to when I was a kid. I spent a LOT of time at the local skating rink sinking quarter after quarter after quarter into the Street Fighter 2 arcade cabinet. Bums me out that arcades are a dead medium (at least, in my area it is) but having this fight stick helps ease that pain. If you're looking for a high end fight stick, I highly suggest this one. I've read reviews where people say that their power cord has gone out, and there isn't a place to buy a new one - but I've also heard that the Mad Catz customer support will send you a new one if you contact them.

Overall, this is my new favorite thing. If you're willing to put the time in, this fight stick is a lot of fun. If you spent any time in an arcade as a kid, it's very nostalgic. The Mad Catz TE2+ gets 5 well deserved stars from me.

I have the USF4 TE2 stick and let me just say after playing with the SFV TE2+ fight stick it is night and day when comparing the two sticks, it feels much better and the response time when doing inputs for movement/controls is faster and quicker and the addition of the touchpad and R3/L3 buttons which gives your more options as far as setups to your stick that's to your preference is a very nice touch as well.

If this will be your first time getting a fight stick coming over from playing a controller a word of advice, please be PATIENT and keep PRACTICING because best believe there's gonna be times when your gonna get so frustrated that you'll want to stop and quit and say the hell with it but PLEASE stick with it because the payoff from your hard work and diligence will be worth its weight in gold when your in a match and you pull off a move so seamless and with ease that you might have struggled with trying to pull off with a controller.
