Since it's not clear in the product description, I wanted to leave this info here:

1. The model of the stick in the TES+ is: Sanwa JLF-TP-8Y-SK.
2. The stick comes with a switchable restriction plate (must open case) that may switch between 8-way (square) or 4-way (diamond) modes.
3. You will likely want to modify this with an octagonal shaped restriction plate for fighting games.
4. The 8-way shapes will not work well with classic arcade games that require 4-way input, such as PAC-MAN.

Edit: I've noticed that a few people found this review helpful, so I thought I'd add a few pictures. I really like the cord management in this device.

For those wanting to play on PC, yes this is compatible with the PC. You just have to go through a couple small hoops which I will guide you through to get it working with your system. If you're wanting to play SFV with this stick you're going to want to do the following as SFV will not recognize it at first.
1. Go to the madcatz website and download the drivers ([...])
2. Choose your operating system, then select Fightstick TES+, and select download
3. Once you download and install the driver, restart your PC.
4. Next, go to your taskbar and right click the little joystick icon and select XINPUT. If you do not select XInput, SFV will not recognize the stick.
5. After that, the stick should work fine with SFV
6. Might want to switch the stick to PS3 mode. Not sure if it will work under PS4 mode or not but this is not a big issue.
Most tutorials don't even explain how to get it working with SFV and was frustrating to get it to work until someone pointed out that it needed to be switched manually to XINPUT to get it working. I hope this helps people that want to play SFV using this stick.

All in all really good stick. I believe the stick (the joystick itself) might be a square gate, meaning four corners. I prefer the octo gate (8 directionals) but this is still a solid stick. Okay that didn't sound right but you know what I mean. The buttons are pretty responsive and feels just like all the tournament editions I've played with. I'm sure you can find some other sticks for a bit less but this is still worth the price as you can play it on both the PS4 and PS3.

EDIT: Mad Catz out of business. These are going to be collector's items at some point and extremely expensive. If you want one get them now.

A perfect stick in theory. It's beautiful, the Shadaloo art is actually pretty amazing, with gold speckles on a background of shiny blackness. The background does pick up fingerprints, but it's also high quality plastic as are the buttons and stick very high quality. It does not scratch easily.

Everything is positioned very well on the Mad Catz, and you are never lacking for anything with this arcade stick. The white start button is on the rear along with select. The touchpad works fine, and there are drivers for PC that you can download. I had no issues getting this to work immediately on Win 7 without problems.

We don't really need to talk about the controller itself here. This stick is nearly perfect. What we need to talk about is Mad Catz QA and the overall quality of the controller you might get.

My original order for the controller came in a nice box without tears. The controller itself felt nearly perfect. Being the keen eye that I am, I took a look over every inch of the thing. There is a tiny fleck of gold paint on the left side under the artwork, and a white fleck on the right side above the logo. These are obviously small flaws, but they are flaws in an expensive controller. The small fleck of gold is obviously the skull art that may have just been splattered a tiny bit while printing. Not a HUGE deal, but it is something you deal with when you are paying this kind of cash. For 200 I would not be happy, personally.

But, as I found out, you will probably not get perfection with Mad Catz. The second controller that came was in a box that looked torn open by three people. Apparently, it was sealed. The controller inside was in great condition... except for the massive tearing of the black plastic around one of the buttons. I'm honestly at a loss as to how something like this could escape QA. The whole plastic areas under the button was ripped up and torn looking!

To me, and in the end, I just accepted my first controller as the tearing was actually quite noticeable on the second controller. It also had a pretty big scuff on the grey plastic surrounding the controller area. It was either choose small flaws I barely notice, or choose another with very noticeable and rough chaffing in two areas.

So to be frank, you should go into this not expecting perfection on build quality. Mad Catz really seems to lack in this area. I am sure some people have nearly perfect controllers. I got mine for 150 so I can't complain too much, but this is still a really expensive controller, and you should expect there to be very minor problems with the looks.

Overall, I really love the thing, I just wish the QA was better. There is no way I would be happy if I got a torn box and rough looking controller for 200 dollars. My guess is you should send it back. But there is only so much of that you can do before you must accept what you get or accept a refund. So just beware of the normal problems people face with Mad Catz controllers. I have heard much worse out there, and I guess overall with Amazon I consider myself somewhat lucky that they are being a good sport about it.
