Remember the name Chris Genovese because this book could compete with some of the greats like Stephen King.
It will keep you hiding behind your pillow and then hugging that same pillow. I can't wait to get started on the third book.
I love how Chris can scare the crap out of me in this book but in the middle of scaring me there is a amazing true love story.
I will never ever walk down a dark alley, mirrors are more than arms length away.... Absolutely action packed beautifully written I felt like I was being pulled through the mirror myself!!! Bravo... To think I didn't even want to read this series!!! So glad I did!!!! Thanks
Gabe, Lisa, and their new-found friends are traveling to the Slums of New York to find Allie in the hopes that Gabe and his image, Cutter, can switch places. But on the way, they encounter all different types of problems including a huge bounty out for Cutter, figments, Belgrave, Goody Bones and most of all Cloak. But they eventually make it to the mirror and Ally but something drastic happens and changes both Gabe and Lisa’s lives.
“You’re going to change things, Gabe. You’ll change the darkness to light.”—Ivy
Figments of Fear is a book, Stephan King and Dean Koontz fans would enjoy. But in the middle of all the horror, gore, maniacs, and monsters C.C Genovese has added a touch of romance. Its a book that will make you think twice about walking down an ally in the middle of the night.
Even though this book has MPOV, I find myself enjoying it. I am captivated by the words and characters, to the point I don’t notice when it switches pov. It just another part of the story. For some of our readers, you will understand what a big accomplishment that is. The third book is coming out soon and I am excited to read what is next for Gabe and Lisa.
