“A must read for everyone—singles and couples alike. Dr. Weil shows how to predict, prepare for, and prevent Financial Infidelity and unlock the secret to money fitness and lasting love.”—David Bach, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Automatic Millionaire
“Absolutely nails the problem—financial infidelity is usually just a symptom of something else going on. Weil does a great job of providing tons of easily workable steps for piecing out what exactly that issue is—and what you can do together to solve it. If you don’t trust your partner when it comes to money, Financial Infidelity is essential reading… an excellent book that really hammers down on something that is a real problem in many, many relationships.”—Trent Hamm, The Simple Dollar
“Financial Infidelity expands the concept of the mistress to money and shows yet another way couples cause each other misery. Taking a fresh look at couples and money, the author illuminates a largely ignored challenge and offers couples detailed and excellent procedures to replace the money addictions with intimacy. I heartily recommend the book to all couples.”—Harville Hendrix, Ph.D., New York Times bestselling author of Getting the Love You Want and Receiving Love
“This compassionate, insightful book should be required reading for all couples. Dr. Eaker Weil explains why Financial Infidelity has become an epidemic and shows you how to create a blueprint for emotional and financial connection.”—T. Harv Eker, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Secrets of the Millionaire Mind
“And you thought lying about sex is what destroys a relationship? Try again. Dr. Bonnie elegantly shows how spending, hiding, and lying about money are the foremost wreckers of romance and marriage—triggering deep feelings of betrayal and distrust, even initiating adultery. Sex, love, money; it’s all connected. In the first book ever on this topic, Dr. Bonnie gives some excellent advice on how to unveil and tame this devil and keep love alive. It’s honest, creative, daring, and above all useful.”—Dr. Helen Fisher, anthropologist, Rutgers University, author of Why We Love: The Nature and Chemistry of Romantic Love

What I did like was the section on looking at family money history and how it affects us. The money genogram was a bit complex but one could easily simplify it and get a good picture of how the current situation fits with the money history in our families. I think this would be a good book if you are looking for some techniques to improve your relationship in general and to deal with smaller money betrayals.
