I bought this for my grandchildren, but read it myself first. Illustration is bright and will be fun for children, but the story by Catherine Ingram is brilliantly told. Informative, witty and fun to read.
Here is a review from the grandchildren. Charlotte and Archie. Dec 2020.
Finding Frida, by Laura Callaghan and Catherine Ingram is a colourful informative and fun book. The illustrations are colourful and bright and we loved how much detail there was. The puzzles are challenging and they kept us busy for a while. We learnt about so many different and interesting people and what they did for a living. We would recommend this book for 10 yrs and older because it was engaging but also gave lots of interesting information. We love this book because it gave us insight to Frida Kahlo’s life and made sure that the way we were learning was fun and engaging.
