Blackberry Smoke return with an amalgamation of the bluegrass-infused Southern rock that the band has cultivated as a trademark sound.

Great album, one of the best new albums I've heard in a year or so. I think it sits behind "The Whippoorwill" in their catalog, but compares favorably with their last one, "Like an Arrow". A little more rock and rougher around the edges this time out; I like it a lot. These guys are true to themselves and their spirit and they are not your Nashville Image-Group Hat-Guys or Tractor-Rap weenies who want to be Cuntry Kool. These folks have been belting out solid rock-n-roll with a bit of a southern twang (natural, not forced like rap-dudes-who-now-claim-to-be-country) for a decade or more. We don't care what you call it as long as they keep playing it and putting out new music that rings true.
