All of Gabi’s books are amazing! I love the message, but also the illustrations are lovely. I am a licensed therapist, working with children & am looking forward to using this tool to talk about anxiety and how to cope.

    It does require reading, which my 6 year old daughter was annoyed about 😆 however after we read it together, it did in fact help her calm down during a melt down and she was ready to practice more. It talks about the different times you might feel anxious and how to overcome it. There are some random blank pages in the back of the book and I didn’t see their purpose, so we used them to draw some extra ways she can calm down as well. Highly recommend.

    Mindfullness is such an important skill for kids to work on. Life can get overwhelming for kids, and Gabi Garcia has written lots of books to help kids grow up happy and healthy.

    Thinner and more simple than expected but still cute. I purchased for my 8 year old daughter as a walk through book when she’s feeling overwhelmed but it’s a little to simple for what I was exactly looking for. Still a great book for ages 5-8 depending on the child.

    Great book to teach kids how to deal with anxiety. Has grounding exercises you can do with your kids, which I found very helpful.

    I really enjoy this book for my seven year old. It takes a scary emotion and brings it down to a level of understanding for a young age group. I specifically love how there are strategies to use.

    Got this for my 9 year old niece after she had a bit of an anxiety attack when I was with her and she didn’t know what she was experiencing. The coping methods have helped especially the 5 senses. Recently her 4 year old sister was very upset and she tried the five senses method with her. I thought it was very sweet that not only is the book helping her a bit she’s using what she learns to help her sister too

    A brilliant book! Techniques were provided after the story, which was a lovely surprise to see at the end.

    Some really good techniques to help maintain calm and allow you to turn off a panic attack when it comes in. Really well illustrated and a good overall read for all ages.

    While this book is brilliant and has a lot of great points, tips and methods to assist in recognising, dealing with and overcoming anxiety and anxiety attacks, the wording and a lot of the subject matter is way too complex for the target audience to understand, comprehend and replicate. Most of the time I found I was translating the book in order to help the children understand what it was about.
