Finding Alexei was an impossibly sweet, satisfying read. The cute factor was high, the conflict factor low, and the overall feeling of the book was heartwarming. I always have fun reading Kendall Ryan’s books, but Finding Alexei stands out from the rest.

Few women can resist the lure of a hot man with a baby, especially when the baby isn’t his. I am no exception; neither is Ryleigh. I loved how much both Ryleigh and Alexei stepped up for that precious infant who was completely lacking a family. Ella was an innocent, and I was so happy to see these people who had no tie to her rearrange their lives to ensure that precious baby had everything she needed.

Ryleigh was nearly as innocent as Ella and in desperate need of a break. Her life had been anything but easy; she had no support system, no safe place to land, no one to fight for her. Until Alexei found her. She was so used to clawing her way through life, she could scarcely believe – or accept – that someone would so willingly help her. I loved that she was so intent on retaining her independence and resilience.

Alexei was just as good as I imagined him to be in Dear Jane. Seriously, I don’t think the man had a bad bone in his body. He was good with babies, supportive of women, and seemed otherwise flawless. He was perfect in a way only romance novel heroes can be. Those types of heroes don’t always work for me, but in this story, with everything Ryleigh and Ella had gone through, Alexei definitely did it for me. He was amazing, and I kind of want to keep him to myself and refuse to share him with anyone else.

I love Kendall Ryan’s light-hearted contemporary romances. They’re easy-to-read, engaging and fun, and I just seem to slip right into devour mode when I’ve got one on my Kindle. A sports romance with Ryan’s spin on the Pretty Woman vibe, Finding Alexei was an absolute pleasure to read. Capping off a series of connected but completely standalone romances, I enjoyed every single one of them, but Finding Alexei was my favorite of the bunch.

Gentle giant Alex Ivan is a pro-football player, and fans of Kendall Ryan will recall meeting this character in Dear Jane. He happened upon the heroine, Ryleigh, at just the right time, and from that point on, he couldn’t help but get involved in her spinning-out-of-control life. Make no mistake, though, Ryleigh was no damsel in distress—she was a fiercely independent woman, caught up in some hard times but trying her best to make it through on her own. She was put in an impossible position, but instead of turning her back on it, she stepped up and was doing the right thing.

Alex is such a good guy, and the scenes in this story with him and baby Ella were so sweet and endearing. But what made him stand out as a truly swoon-worthy hero were his private thoughts and internal dialogue where readers were privy to his developing feelings for Ryleigh and Ella. With fantastic chemistry right from the first moment, I loved how this couple worked as a team to care for Ella. When that chemistry that constantly crackled between them finally bubbled over into passion, their transition to a couple felt natural, genuine and right.

Finding Alexei was entertaining, charming, with plenty of heart-tugging moments. An effortlessly swoon-worthy hero and a feel-good love story combine to make this an unputdownable story that left me with a smile on my face, a blush on my cheeks and a full, happy heart. Finding Alexei by Kendall Ryan gets 4.5 smooches from me!

This book was just fabulous. After reading the first line of the book you will fall in love with Alexei. He is everything you are looking for in a hero of a romance. But I must say you will also love Ryleigh as soon as you meet her. Together these two are just perfect and the baby is just the cherry on top.
Ryleigh is great because even though nothing seems to be going her way she still wants to be independent and doesn’t want hand outs. Alexei likes that Ryleigh doesn’t recognize him when they meet and he is instantly more trusting of her and her intentions.
I had tears in my eyes when I read about Ryleigh and how she came to be caring for Ella. And OMG, when you read about Alexei and Ella. Just wow!
I loved this book from the moment I started to read it. If you love Kendall Ryan’s books then this book will become a favorite. Soo good and is definitely one to be reread!

This is the cutest book I have read in a very long time. Not an author that I have read before but have quite a few of her books on my Kindle I think that Ms Kendall has a new fan.

Ryleigh is a young woman essentially alone in the world who is struggling financially working in a topless bar she was just about making ends meet when her roommate disappeared leaving her with a large rent bill to pay and a two month old baby Ella. She is rescued from a pervy man by Alexi who sweeps in and offers her a ride home. She is used to being independent and suddenly she has a hulk of a man offering to look after her and as much as she hates to admit it she is enjoying the stability he is offering. But is all this too good to be true? How can she ask this man to take on not her but a baby that’s neither her or his?

Alexi is meant to be keeping his image clean after a few incidents the press and other players on other teams the famous line backer needs to stay in control and out of trouble. But once he sees Ryleigh being hassled outside of her place of work he decides that any trouble that comes with her is worth it, especially after he learns how big her heart is taking on her roommates baby and trying to survive there is no way that he is leaving her in the neighbourhood and apartment that has no heat in nearly freezing temperatures. It’s not long before he is taking her and Ella home and planning a future that includes them. All he has to do is convince her to take a chance on them, should be easy right?

This is a short read with all the feels and I honestly loved it, both characters are well written and easy to fall in love with and Ella is the cutest. Highly recommended read perfect start to the year for me.

Wonderful Feel good story.

Well that gave me all the feels, they might have been 'Playing House' but they were strangers. Alexi stumbles across Ryleigh outside her place of work, they had an immediate connection, but I felt they were both in denial about their feelings, or trying to convince themselves they were not there.

They bonded in most unorthodox way, she was literally left holding the baby, after her roomie did a bunk! We learn why her roommate left the baby with her, so sad.

ALexi knew what to do with a baby, even if it made Ryleigh feel useless at times, they soon became a good team.

Ryleigh wasn't like other girls, firstly she had no clue as to how famous Alexi was, and was embarrassed when he brought her things for her and the baby. She was a very independent lady, but soon realised Alexi was a good honest guy, brought up to respect and care for ladies, after all he had two sisters.

Alexi's friends thought she had other ideas about her motives but thankfully they soon changed their minds, and accepted her for who she was.

I loved Alexi's Mom and sisters, they all loved Ryleigh once they got to know her. This is a lovely feel good story, a great read on a long flight. Really enjoyed reading their story.

Reassuringly, Alexei, like a knight in shining armour comes to the rescue of a pretty lady outside a seedy topless bar late one cold night in Chicago. She is being propositioned and the male doing so doesn't want to accept 'no' as an answer.

Not wanting to pass by and pretend its none of his business Alexei intervenes. The male backs away reluctantly and then Alexei is a gentleman and offers to give the lady named Kyleigh a lift home. With reluctance she accepts but she gets home to find her heating has been cut off and her room mate has disappeared and abandoned her two months old baby.

Again seeing the situation that Kyleigh is now in, Alexei takes her and the baby back to his six million dollars pent-house for one night. Turns out that Alexei comes from a large family and knows more about looking after a baby than Kyleigh and as their different lives collide, a longer stay is necessary. Refreshingly, even though she is poor, Kyleigh is not interested in his money but cooks delicious meals to help repay his kindness to her and the baby.

Alexei the hero comes from a close Russian family and is a pro football athlete earning millions as a linebacker. He has a kind heart and really wants to protect Kyleigh and the baby that is not theirs. But Kyleigh is fiercely independent and is adamant that she wants to go back to her old place. However, when she does, her landlord has locked her out and is not prepared to let her in until she pays her rent arrears. So what will now happen... to Kyleigh and the baby? Read this charming story and you will be pleasantly pleased at the outcome.

Ah, I love how Alexei doesn’t even hesistate to help her when she’s stranded and then helps her with the baby and a warm apartment. My heart melted and I was rooting for Ryleigh, Alexei and baby Ella. For me, when you read a Kendall book, it is literally impossible not to love the characters and their stories.

Ryleigh is a heroine I inspire to be like. Alexei is the hero everyone wants. Ella makes them a family.

Wow I really loved this book, especially Alexei he was a lovely guy that I kept wanting to grap him and hug him to my heaving breasts. Sorry about that I am getting carried away. When he helps Ryleigh out of a terrible situation, and the way he is with Ella was so beautiful.

That’s get back to the story, Alexei takes in Ryleigh who has been left with her roommate’s baby. The only thing is Ryleigh has no clue about taking care of babies, and much to her surprise a big bad football player is wonderful with babies. On top of that he can cook and is loyal.Lets face it what more do you want.

This is funny, heartbreaking and a story of love, and great to catch up with Jane and Westin. I think this is one of my favourites. Kendall Ryan has written a wonderful entertaining story and I loved it, Alexei was just so lovable I am so hooked
