About the Author
Casey Peeler grew up in North Carolina and still lives there with her husband and daughter. Growing up Casey wasn't an avid reader or writer, but after reading Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neal Hurston during her senior year of high school, and multiple Nicholas Sparks' novels, she found a hidden love and appreciation for reading. That love ignited the passion for writing several years later, and her writing style combines real life scenarios with morals and values teenagers need in their daily lives. When Casey isn't writing, you can find her near a body of water listening to country music with a cold beverage and a great book.

This book picks up where No Turning Back stops. Charley is sick at the thought that someone that she trusted would betray like he did and lets that person know that she needs time to process everything to see if forgiveness is even an option. Charley heads home for Christmas break and knows that she will run into the creep that hurt her in the first book. Even though she is dating Cash and is head over heels in love with him (who wouldn't be?), she devises a plan to take Dylan done and to show him once and for all that he does not control her. Cash, Piper, Tessa, and the Kluft girls do not like her plan and tell her so but they go along with it because they want Charley to be able to make her nightmare stop and to show the world the kind of person that Dylan Sloan really is. Charley wants him stopped before he hurts another girl and she knows that she is the only one that can do it.
Finding Charley is a book that shows that the strength of one person and their support system can make or break someone. Due to the incredible support system, Charley grows as a person and she knows what she needs to do and who she can count on when the going gets tough.
Loving Charley cannot come out soon enough!!
I have fallen in love with this series and can't get enough! What more could you ask for than country music, friends, and country boys!!!
After Joe's revelation which stunned and hurt Charley, she decides it's time to do things herself. She needs to stop depending on Cash for when things get tough and learn to overcome them herself. After exams are over she heads home for winter break. She has come to the conclusion it is time to fight for her live back, get out of the hold Dylan has over her. What she has in mind won't be easy and could possibly break Cash's heart. In order for her plan to work she needs everyone she trusts in on it and she is hoping everything works as planned so she can finally be free and be with the one she loves, Cash.
Charley has great friends and family that support her. I love the Kluft Girls, they all have each others back no matter what, and they definitely know how to party. In this book you get to know Piper and Tessa more than the first book. Cash supports and loves Charley, he is willing to put aside his feelings to help Charley do what she believes is necessary for taking Dylan down.
This series is highly addicting. I had this book read in one day, I had to know if Charley is successful with her plan and if her and Cash finally get their HEA. I know I have plenty of book boyfriends I love, but damn Cash is...sigh... so sexy and knows all the right things to say. I gotta love that hot country boy. This one ends with a cliffhanger and you will want to jump right into the next one. Luckily you don't have to wait for the conclusion because Loving Charley is out!!!
Pros: Characters were well developed and believable. Storyline was great with lots of twists and turns to keep me interested. Covered a variety of emotions and emotional situations that allowed you to become more involved with the characters.
Cons: Needs editing. Very repetitive regarding how she feels about her guy which made the story a little slower than it really should be. Each book just ends and leaves you hanging...basically one book chopped into 3 parts.
Despite the flaws...I found myself involved in this story. I finished the first book and grabbed the second immediately. Part way through the second book I purchased the third. The ending was well done and I have no regrets about purchasing the 2nd and 3rd books. My usual genre are historical romance, science fiction/fantasy or westerns. I occasionally grab a book just to broaden my horizons and get out of my safe zone. This series was a nice surprise that had me engrossed in the story and makes me believe that Casey Peeler may be an author to keep an eye on.
