I loved catching up with Zay and Jersey and getting a peek into Devin and Willow's relationship a bit more...I am so looking forward to their story. Also, Bam is amazing and I can't wait to see what's in store for him with Cassie. Jacinta has invoked so much love and family in this story that the reader can't help but root for each of them. The music that is the soul and foundation for them is beyond expectation and captures my love as a reader just as much as anything else. This story was also a meaningful tribute to Prince who has helped to empower music and will forever live on through it. Go Prototype!
Thanks Jacinta for another special read! LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT!!!!!
The way that Jacinta Howard writes makes you feel like you are listening to a soundtrack where every chapter is a new song that just sings to your soul. It's beyond romance.
So the guy, Travis, the way he is described makes you wish he existed in real life. At times I had a hard time remembering he was fictional. I say that about all Jacinta's characters, but Travis, well he might just be my favorite of all her guys.
Then you have the girl, Kennedy. You know she's naturally beautiful. You know, the girl with features that make men and women stare because she's just that stunning. When you find out why her heart is struggling to overcome her mind, you will ache for her. I gasped, really, like out loud.
The connection between Travis and Kennedy is spiritual. I'll leave it at that because there are no other words that will do it justice.
Jacinta is more than an author, she is a lyricist as well, I wish the music she writes existed. She cares about how her readers interpret her art, yes it's art. The way she writes causes you to develop a relationship with her words. I recommend you see what I mean for yourself.
