Never have I wanted to read a book more than this one. To find out how Mariah Dietz finished her beautiful trilogy about Max and Ace. I was privileged enough to receive an ARC of this book and it was simply magnificent.
The story continues on from Book 2 Losing Her.
Ace is now living in Delaware away from her family, friends and Max. Her heart is broken and she is trying desperately to repair her shattered heart.
She meets two new friends, Fitz her medical mentor and Danny a famous fighter. Between the two they try to help her rebuild her life.
Ace also attends counseling sessions with Kitty, who becomes more than just a counselor to her.
Once again though Ace must return home for her sister's she must face the truth of her relationship with Max and the death of her father.
This book was absolutely magnificent. The writing impeccable. Mariah Dietz takes the reader on a young woman's journey of healing her shattered heart and soul after the loss of the two most important people in her life.
This book touches the heart of the reader from the very first page right through to the very last.
Every emotion possible is experienced during the reading of this story.
You will cry at Ace's sorrow and pain, laugh at the antics of all the Bosse girls and get angry with some of Ace and Max's actions towards each other. But overall you will love this beautiful finale to a magnificent series.
BRAVO Mariah Dietz for yet another soul rendering book.
Definitely deserved more than 5*****

"Memories are funny that way, like time, they sneak up on you - it's inevitable."

If you've read the first 2 books of this series, you know that this is Ace's story after the breakup. Harper (Ace) moves across the country to try to hide from... everything. The problem is, how can she move forward if she keeps running from the past?

"..time will always pass, but sometimes you forget to pay attention until it's too late."

I read most of this book with tears in eyes, threatening to spill out down my cheeks. The emotion written on these pages... it's overwhelming and hits you like a ton of bricks. Even now, while I'm writing this review. I'm just in awe of Mariah Dietz and what she did with this series and 'Finding Me', in particular. I went to that dark place with Ace. I felt her heartache, her anxiety about remembering and most of all... I felt the weight lifted at the end.

Not only did I love Ace and Max, but I fell for all the characters. No matter how short their time in the story, they all had an impact and played an important part. Honestly, I could totally see Danny having his own book (wishful thinking...).

This was the perfect ending to Ace and Max's story. I'm sad that it's over, but thankful that I went on the journey.

This series has earned a spot as one of my all time favorites. Do you think that you don't like the New Adult genre? Read this series. It'll change your entire outlook, for the better.

"All that you can do is choose to be present during your life, and pay attention."

Fans of this series know that Ace and Max have not had an easy road as a couple. Their love story has always felt very real, and their struggles as they've grown (both personally, and as a couple) have felt relateable. This book was wonderfully well-written, and a satisfying conclusion to their wonderful romance. However, this book is more than that. As a reader, I have loved not only the romantic portions of these book..but also the parts of these books that demonstrate the human capacity to grow, and to overcome. Finding Me is not only about's a book about self, about loss, and about personal growth. It's truly something special. I highly recommend this book (and the series). You won't be disappointed.

Finding Me is the final book in Max and Ace’s journey and a heartbreaking story of grief, regret, and forgiveness. There is no easy way to sum up this book because it was so all-consuming. Mariah Dietz stirs up powerful emotions with her poignant prose, transporting the reader into the heads and hearts of her beautifully broken characters. Finding Me will break you, grow you, and change you as you experience the incredible weight that this story carries. Mariah Dietz has written a book that is unbelievably genuine, stunning me with its brutal honesty and devastating loss.

Ace really blew me away in this book. I can’t say I’ve ever met another character like Ace, her personality and personal journey so one-of-a-kind. Her struggles were very much my own, connecting me to her in a profound way. Her inability to handle her grief, navigate her emotions, and accept love made her journey all the more heart-wrenching. Watching this vibrant young woman define herself was breathtaking in its pure demonstration of the human experience. Ace exemplifies Mariah Dietz’s remarkable understanding of the heart, embodying its susceptibility to grief, endless capacity for love, and inherent ability to find home. The ties between Max and Ace linger, maintaining their feelings at a simmer while they move in their own directions and try to heal, creating an underlying tension that had my heart beating and breaking as I prayed for Max and Ace to get their happily ever after.

If you’ve ever known devastating loss, this book will tear at your heart. Mariah Dietz has written the emotions of grief and regret with such fierceness that they burn right through you. Her words have seared themselves to my soul, leaving me with a book hangover I can’t even begin to describe.
