About the Author
Tarrah Montgomery has loved writing stories since she was a child. She earned an associate's degree from Ricks College and a bachelor of science in education from Utah State University. Tarrah currently lives in Arizona with her husband, Ryan, and their five young children. She loves to travel, and many of her story ideas have come from seeing the ancient castles and architecture around the world. Some of her adventures have taken her to Paris, London, Rome, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, South Korea, Thailand, and Jamaica. Tarrah teaches preschool and enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and playing the piano. The Princess Chronicles began with Tarrah's first novel, I'm Not Cinderella (2013). Finding Sleeping Beauty is the second book in the series.

However, I felt like there were several subplots that were forgotten and never resolved and I felt like the characters didn't develop or were simply mentioned and forgotten or completely useless to the plot until the ending.
still, I'd recommend this for a 13yo who loves princess stories and Happily Ever Afters. I'm glad I bought this book and I can't wait to give it to my youngest sister for her to read.
But Shelby has plenty of adventure of it's own. From high school to cute farm boys to spud festivals, Danielle is in for a slew of unexpected changes, all while struggling to avoid the curse that has somehow followed her to Idaho.
With plenty of fairy tale references and twists, readers will enjoy trying to figure out which character is from which well-known story. I'd recommend this book to preteen girls and any one who wants a fun, romantic, slightly cowboy-flavored twist on a fairy tale. This is a clean read and the second book in The Princess Chronicles.
