While history has never been my favorite subject-I found this book totally captivating and read it in a day! Richard uses his dry since of humor and wit to wind history and the current-day declining morals and values in our society into a much needed lesson for all of us-there’s still HOPE and we can be a part of it! The author shares some of the mistakes made in the past and most importantly the lessons learned from them. The most compelling thing about this book for me is that Richard gives suggestions on how WE can be a part of the change we want to see in the world without selling all our earthly possessions, joining the Peace Corps or becoming missionaries! He also helped with my Christmas shopping as all my friends will be getting a copy!
