I love these strainers - the handle, the fine mesh, easy cleanup, the stackability (is that a word? It is now) the small one is perfect for straining the loose tea I sometimes drink. BUT I had to knock off one star... after a few weeks of use, I sliced my thumb on a stray wire while washing them. It wouldn't be a big deal except my 3 year old was playing in the sink next to me at the time, and sometimes I let him play with the "safe" kitchen gadgets while I cook. It could have been his finger and it could have been a deeper cut. I yanked the wire out with some pliers and it was a little over an inch long, apparently not attached to anything so my guess is it was just a scrap that got stuck in the rim during manufacture?
I thoroughly inspected all three afterward and never found any other strays, but I'm wary now. No further problems or signs of breakage, so I would still recommend this set with just a word of caution.
