My usage of this product is limited to a few specific applications, but through my usage it has become obvious that this is a very high-quality grease, and that it likely has the ability to work well in very different applications. ExtremeFluoro provides both low-temp & high-temp lubrication, while simultaneously reducing the buildup that is often associated with greases.
I like how these fluoro greases improve upon historic greases in a sense that they work well at both very cold and very hot temperatures. I use this product to lubricate a few metal-on-metal contact points with a rifle I use for competitive shooting. These parts are machined to a high tolerance and a good lubricant is what ensures reliable operation while preventing premature wear from friction. The concerns with a grease used here is that a single product will not provide ample lubrication when overly cold, or it will begin to break down when exposed to high-heat or high-pressure. Historically that has meant accepting a tradeoff somewhere, but ExtremeFluoro minimizes this tradeoff. Extreme Fluoro has given me excellent lubrication in below-freezing temperatures, as well as excellent lubrication when seeing prolonged high-heat conditions. Not many products do a great job at both, but Extreme Fluoro does and I imagine this can be used in place of many anti-seize compounds. Even better, Extreme Fluoro greatly reduces that fouling and gunk buildup that can occur with many greases - this is a huge operational plus and I imagine partly why this product is so loved within cycling communities given how very few products minimize buildup without the tradeoff of poor lubrication. This is the closest thing I have used to a "dry lubricant" that did not have the dry lubricant tradeoffs.
I also find Extreme Fluoro and other fluoro-base greases attractive in an environmental perspective. We use lead-free ammunition because of how harmful lead can be on the environment, and I am using biodegradable ammonia-based cleaners since many cleaners can be extremely toxic. So the most toxic product I have had has been the lubricant, and ExtremeFluoro is a nice gain in this department. It does not produce toxic gases at higher-heat, and the overall toxicity aspect is reduced (partly because a much smaller quantity of this does the same job at a much larger quantity of other products). In some industrial applications, I think that is a potential benefit as ExtremeFluoro has the ability to replace the usage of certain compounds that have historically been extremely toxic to both those working with it and the surrounding area.
I also like the applicator a lot. We all know how too much lubricant can create its own set of problems, giving way to a situation that isn't much better than underlubrication. The syringe (which you cut the applicator yourself so you can determine how much you want to come out) helps avoid over-lubricating or otherwise wasting a good product. So while the applicator is a pretty minor aspect compared to the lubricant itself, the Extreme Fluoro applicator makes this product more convenient to use and easier to dose the correct quantity needed for your personal application.
So overall, ExtremeFlouro has been a very useful product for me, personally, and I feel many could benefit from its properties. As my own usage of this product is limited to a specific application, I cannot say for sure if it is the best choice for your personal application, but I can say that I feel this grease has an overall performance that makes it versatile and effective in reducing wear.
