Finish Line WET Bike Lubricant
Maximum Lubrication and Rust Protection
WET Lube is typically recommended for extreme conditions. Formulated with high viscosity synthetic oils, water repelling polymers, and advanced anti-wear additives. WET Lube is Finish Line's strongest, longest lasting and most water resistant lubricant. WET Lube goes on wet, and stays wet, to provide maximum drivetrain smoothness, extremely quiet rides, and ultimate rust protection in the harshest of environments.
The Choice of Pro Mechanics
If you use WET Lube for riding off-road or in dry climates, be sure to wipe the excess from parts to minimize the attraction of dirt and grime. Since 1994, when WET Lube was first introduced, it has become the preferred lubricant for many professional on and off-road teams around the world.
Stands Up to High Mileage and Wet Rides
Use WET Lube when you ride hard and long. Proven performance for 100-plus mile rides, muddy off-road conditions, long rainy commutes, and foggy salt-air coastal climates. A heavier, wet-style lubricant that requires a little more attention to drivetrain cleanliness, but delivers the ultimate in lubricity and protection.

The chain seems to run much more smoothly with the wet vs the dry as well. Aside from the tendency to pick up more dirt, I like the wet lube more than the dry. I’m glad I made the switch.
I cleaned my chain and used this wet lube to relubricate the chain, and now it looks like the only brand new part on the bike.
It has withstood both rain and snow, yet it somehow runs and looks just as good as when I put it on.
I also bought dry lube from this same brand for the summers, but I don't think I'll be using it too much considering I live in Tennessee (we can get a lot of rain and mud). I haven't used it yet, but when I do I'll be writing a review on that comparing it to the wet lube.
The oil is very thick, making applying the lube relatively mess free. I just put a drop on every single link and wiped up the excess with a paper towel.
Would I recommend this to a friend? Most definitely! I imagine this bottle will last me a long time, so I certainly wouldn't mind helping others self-service their bicycles, even though I myself am new to the game.
A little of this lube goes a long way. If you can manage to go link by link, slowly, I can also mitigate the messy nature of sprays.
After application, I've generally experienced excellent results. Shifting remains crisp and there's no squeaks or pings.
In terms of how clean the chain stays, I've included a photo. The photo taken is the chain of my winter bike after 3 weeks of riding, after an application of this lube. I think that's very respectable considering those three weeks saw rain, sleet and snow.
Overall, the price is right and the results are consistent and excellent. I highly recommend this lube.

Once this gets into your links, it's amazing ! I always clean my chain off the bike using cheap as chips brake and clutch cleaner (5 litres for £10!) it strips anything off the chain - oils / grit, metal fragments off the transmission etc, a quick bath in some brake cleaner - use a small paintbrush to agitate it - and the best bit, the brake cleaner is so volatile it will drip for a few mins and then evaporate in 5 mins more - totally clean, totally dry and the chain is Virgin clean. Only then, reapply more of this gorgeous green lube. It's OK to wipe the chain day to day if it's dry or dusty and attracting abrasive rubbish, BUT it's worth the effort as the lube will make your chain last so much longer than you could believe (don't use cheap chain and GOOD lube like this !)
best chain oil ive experience. has a nice smell too
- Pulisco per bene la catena con uno sgrassatore adatto;
- Applico una minuscola goccia di lubrificante per ogni perno della catena (comodissimo il beccuccio della confezione);
- Faccio girare i pedali e con un panno rimuovo i residui di olio ai lati;
