About the Author
New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly bestselling author JoAnn Ross wrote her first novella — a tragic romance about two star-crossed mallard ducks — for a second grade writing assignment. The paper earned a gold star. And JoAnn kept writing. Since selling her first three novels between Christmas and New Years in 1982, she’s written over one hundred novels and has been published in twenty-six countries. Two of her titles have been excerpted in Cosmopolitan magazine and her books have also been published by the Doubleday, Rhapsody Literary Guild, and Mystery Guild book clubs. A member of the Romance Writers of America’s Honor Roll of best-selling authors, she’s won several awards, including RT Reviews’ Career Achievement Awards in both category romance and contemporary single title. Currently writing her Shelter Bay series (set on the Oregon Coast, where her high school sweetheart husband bought her a bag of saltwater taffy, then proposed), her River’s Bend series, (set in Southern Oregon ranching country, where she grew up), and her award winning Irish Castlelough series, JoAnn lives with her husband and two rescued dogs in Olympia.

Once Finn inlisted into the Navy he grew as a man but realized risking death so many times wasn't something he wanted to keep doing. Tori felt she was unlovable because no foster family kept her, and her fiance was cheating on her. Together they find love and Finn wants to give Tori everything she never had a home, family and unconditional love. This is a must read series, about family, true love and loss.
Finn is probably my favorite brother. He's the youngest. He doesn't want to be known for being his father's son so he does everything he can to hide that connection. Including keeping it from Tori.
Good couple, lots of chemistry. I'll be picking up more of Ms. Ross's work in the future.
I find Ms. Ross to be an extraordinary story teller but this book just didn't grab me. I'm happy that I'm clearly in the minority, though. 3.5-stars for me.
He flies Tori into Alaska on what was meant to be her honeymoon, but the wedding never happened. (Story there). They actually first met a year ago (hot story there!)
They get to know each other but finds it hard to trust and keep secrets that end up hurting....
You must read this book and the other 6!
This story was a wonderful love story about 2 people that destiny had plans for them. Every family has their flaws and these wonderful brothers rediscovered love.
I would highly recommend this book and series to anyone that loves a great love story!!
Great job JoAnn Ross and all the other authors for their amazing writing!
