Katabe lives in Midwest America and has a nice life as a middle-school teenager. One night she begins reading the book of Revelation and is magically transported to Calypsion, the land of Revelation. Now, she’s looking to get home, but there’s only one way. She must help Arnion save his people from the diabolical Red Wyrm.
Enoch and Naomi hunt demons, dragon-like beings that serve the Red Wyrm, but hunting demons doesn’t pay much, so they also work as bounty hunters to make some extra cash and bring justice to their land. A strange twist of fate lands them in the hands of the slaver Zelophehad, a ruthless megalomaniac who will stop at nothing to satisfy his greed, lust, and desire for power.
Ruth has heard about Arnion from her parents all of her life, but when she finally meets him in a strange cave, he asks her to sacrifice her life for someone that she has never even met. That’s also when Ruth learns that her parents have been enslaved. As she and Arnion set out to rescue them, Enoch and Naomi must hold on as they battle the wicked Zelophehad who holds an ancient weapon with terrible power.
When Katabe and Ruth finally meet, two worlds collide and sparks fly. How will they ever work together to save this world?

I could definitely feel the parallelism to the stories of the bible. The character are relatable, by being
funny and snarky . I like that in a book, it makes them more real.
It also brought a feeling of the magical world of fiction.
Good versus evil, in a relatable way. Good wins!!!
