I was perusing the book of face recently and saw an ad for the Kindle Fire bundle with the tablet, a Star Wars cover, and a quick charger. I already have a Samsung tablet and a Kindle Paperwhite, I didn't really NEED this tablet...but the Star Wars cover! I added it to my cart and thought on it for a couple hours. I went back and took the plunge.
With the holidays and messed up schedules, my new Kindle Fire sat unopened for a couple weeks. Exactly 2 weeks ago today, I went ahead and opened it and set it all up. I had not done anything with the Kindle Fire tablet line in several years (oldest daughter earned one several years ago through good grades, my husband has one he uses to read a couple magazine subscriptions) and I was initially impressed with it. The size is great for what I use it for - I binge watch TV series on Hulu/Amazon Prime while doing my daily treadmilling - and while I haven't looked into what all it can do, I absolutely love it on the treadmill. The screen is crystal clear and the sound through headphones is great. The Star Wars case is really nice - I opted for the Rise of Skywalker version since it had the most characters on it - and the quick charger is lightning fast (as an aside, it actually quick charges my Google Pixel phone, which is a fantastic bonus). I like mine so much that my mother upgraded from her older Kindle Fire to this version.
I mentioned that I opened it up 2 weeks ago for a reason - I fully charged it after opening it, and with daily use for 40-60 minutes since then, I did not have to charge it again until today. 2 weeks on one charge! I'm definitely not used to that with my other tablet.

Very disappointed with the case. The corners have started to crack & crumble after less than 4 months of light use. Light as in only in the livingroom. If consider this a manufacturing defect but have no way to contact customer service.
