"If you like Jim Butcher (Harry Dresden), Ilona Andrews (Kate Daniels), Larry Correia (Monster Hunter International), and Elliot James (Pax Arcana) then you are going to love Domino Finn's contribution to the smart-talking MC that's perpetually stuck between a rock and a hard place."
"More magic, twists, turns, and surprises than you can shake a stick at. Urban fantasy just went up a notch."
"Black Magic Outlaw is a standout in a world of lookalikes."
"The magic is far more imaginative than anything I have read since Sanderson."

"Enough dead bodies, zombies, and wizards to fill a small stadium."
"Action junkies will love this series."
"A fun magic system, great atmosphere and setting, and a heroic yet tarnished protagonist who finds some pretty creative ways to defeat his enemies."
"Cisco is a tattooed, necromancing, shadow-morphing, 'Live and Let Die' meets Jack Reacher kind of guy... only better."
"Gritty. Raw. Finn spices his narrative with humor and floods it with tension. I just love the noir style."

"Jason Bourne meets urban fantasy. Good pace, engaging lead, and fresh mythology. Loved it."
"What a great path of destruction Cisco leaves."

After a dramatic leap off the balcony into the pool – you have to read Cisco’s account of that! – he walked away to avoid the police. As he turned the corner, another necromancer attacked him! Without his pouch of goodies, he had to improvise. While dealing with that, a Cuban woman carrying a dead chicken came toward him. As he retreated, a gang of teenaged Haitians went after him! Was there no end to this? This was not the vacation he has signed up for! And he still needs to track down Connor!
I can’t get enough of this talented author’s writing – and Cisco is near and dear to my heart! As expected, this book doesn’t disappoint! The presence of the cat occupies the mind with questions so the distracted reader can be constantly surprised by the next thing to spring up! The suspense and humor never stop, but the reader will love every second of it! As promised, we get a great ending. Yes, satisfying for the moment – but I hope Cisco sneaks back in!!!
In this book we get to visit both the Aether and the Underworld. And there's dragons. And I want a picture of that Aether city. It's a great, fun conclusion to Cisco's story arc. Yet lots is left open. I hope another series comes along with more craziness for Cisco to take on.
I have read all the books in this series and just love them. I look forward to more stories from Mr.Finn about Cisco Suarez and his adventures.
Let's just hope the MC learned something so that it doesn't take five books to stop the next one.
I recommend this book.
