This is not Some Like It Hot. Men cheer, too.

First, the guys are not stupid. They are getting good grades in school and making all the plays on the football team. Like typical straight teen boys, they get distracted by every hot girl they see. Talk about players learning all the moves and codes in football, these guys do it in their real life! No wonder they win! (And get the girls.)

The libido kicks in when they find they can go to cheerleading camp instead of football camp by getting the coach's wife to agree that their squad needs men for the catching and shoulder-stand moves.

So, guys get to be guys and, trust me, the girls are getting to be girls. Even the gays are getting action.

Yes, as soon as we meet the rivals, the guys decide to not fake it. You saw that coming. Do they take it to the top and win? Well, that is the ending...I'm not telling. However, the best part is the climax, when two teens realize they really are becoming men and caring. Poor confused Eric Christian Olson.

Speaking of Eric...he should have been on the Gilmore Girls and married Rory. He can whip out TV, song and movie references as fast as greased lightning. Whoa. Is this the young Owen Wilson? Indeed. Hair and all. Why have these two never made a movie together? Our loss...

To me, the funniest part was the movie night. Yeah, the cheerleaders know all the words to...Bring It!

Caution. Bad words...lots. Somehow they fit, which is annoying to me as I usually hate movies like that. There is no female nudity and no real sex acts performed for audience titillation. However, our heroes get naked. You see a little butt, but they are wearing really small underpants (which can be seen on Eric in the credits).

Yes, watch the credits. Lots of extras and a few bloopers. I must say that Here I Go is one of my this-is-my-life songs, however I never realized that all the lyrics are simply answers to unspoken questions! Thank you Eric!

A romcom that's too light on the rom.

The comedy is there and I really liked the two main actors and even the majority of the secondary characters. The great romcoms don't have better comedy, just a further explored romance that makes the whole story worthwhile.

Legit funny, good one liners. debatable if I want my 13 year old watching it, as there are some jokes that go too far, but for adult date night its a winner.

Two footballers forgo Football Summer camp to become Cheerleaders at a predominantly girl's Cheerleading Camp. Interject boyfriends, a bit of watersport nudity, and performance competition among groups while one footballer attempts to win the head cheerleader of his school's group.
