I've just finished reading it cover-to-cover and must say I'm impressed. I've been searching for resources for a long time that communicate cyber safety in a manner everyone can understand, and do it well. This book is the best I've found so far. Parker does an awesome job of bringing computer safety to average users and making it relevant. He's able to make advanced security concepts fun and interesting while not compromising on knowledge. Firewalls Don't Stop Dragons is one ofthe few practical, everyday, to-the-point guides to online security that I've read in years. There's no fluff and filler, just real-worldadvice. The writing is easygoing and readable and the author makes evencomplex subjects easy to understand. - Marte Brengle, DigitalCitizen.life --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

The book covers the main versions of Apple-IOS and Microsoft-Windows operating systems, and has a chapter on smartphones. It is perfect for someone who wants to improve their information security. As the author explains, we trade off convenience and security/privacy, and the book allows us to make decisions on which of the Tips we will implement. The author strongly recommends use of a password manager and identifies a few suitable ones. This book is easy to read, and allows the reader to select the level of security they are interested in and to implement that using the Tips provided.
I expect to be picking up this book many times over the coming months as I continually increase my information security and privacy to my level of comfort and convenience.
