To reel you into the story and then not give you an ending is horrid, cheap and a rip off! To me, it's the ol' "Bait and Switch" game - read this one for free... then I'll charge you for the next book so you can read how Matt and Janie got together! Thanks... but no thanks. I won't patronize an author who does this kind of thing.
I like stories that are in a series, but not when you have to go to the next book to read the ending of the first book. Why not finish the first book then have the second book continue on?
I'm glad "New York" was free, because if I had paid for it I would be screaming, "REFUND!" right now.
Really cared for the characters but the author cheapened their story with too much repetition from the main characters personality to the explicit sex description. Her overuse of the 'F' word also cheapened their lovemaking. Pretty disappointed and will not be reading the sequel, will make an ending in my own head.
I absolutely loved this book. The chemistry between the characters was off the wall. I highly recommend this book.
Warning, this is something I didn't know when I started reading it, it is a cliff hanger, so you must buy the continuing book, First Class to Portland to find out what happens to Janie and Matt.
