First, Do No Harm: The President's Cousin Explains Why His Hippocratic Oath Requires Him to Oppose ObamaCare (Voices of the Tea Party) Kindle Edition
New from Broadside Books' Voices of the Tea Party. The discussion what role—if any—the government should play in regulating and dictating the delivery of health care in the United States has become ground zero in the much larger age-old struggle between statism and individual liberty. Personifying this struggle is the conflict between the big government schemes of President Barack Obama and the free market principles of the President's own cousin, the private practice physician Milton R. Wolf, M.D. When Barack Obama and Dr. Milton Wolf met for the first time in May 2010, it marked the beginning of a new phase in this all-American family feud. In this work, Dr. Wolf takes the gloves off and describes the results of decades of government intervention in health care, the disastrous doubling down on failure of ObamaCare and finally the alternative free market reforms that will save our system and ultimately our nation.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2011Dr. Milton Wolf, President Obama's second cousin, has written a short (five chapter)critque of Obamacare laying out all of the manmy things that are wrong with it. Rather than just criticize though, he lays out some very common sense alternatives to this vast expansion of government control that put the patient back in the equation and therefore in control over their own healthcare destinies. It's a good read and you can finish it in barely an hour.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2013From a physician's point of view, the small book attacks the premises and ideologies that led to the creation of the Affordable Care Act. Easy to read, this principled document is very much worth the time and money.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2013A very quick and concise review of the Affordable Care Act from a Medical Doctor. He also offers a history of government's role in the last 85 years that has led us to where we are. He offers Free Market solutions to our problems and finds a way to make our President seem more human than his current detractors. A GREAT READ.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2014Unfortunate the general public didn't read this before passage of the "Affordable Care Act." Nancy Pelosi perhaps would not have been so insistent on passage of the act to "see what's in it."
- Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2012This book was not over hyped!! It was a wonderful book and an easy read. I have completed it and loaned it to a friend
- Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2011This book sounds intriguing and I wonder if it is available in the hard copy that I can buy and read, instead of the Kindle.
