It started out okay, but was really shallow and I started losing interest. The typos and grammar issues had me confused then laughing. The story went from 1st person her, to 1st person him, then 1st person her again without any differentiation. But then it went from 3rd person him to 1st person her in the next paragraph so it sounded like there was menage going on. But the wrong wording was the worst. His expression was "taught" instead of taunt. And my favorite, the jeans hung low on his "waste." I'm still laughing about that one. I'm not trying to slam the author. I'm sure it's hard to write a book. But she needs a decent editor to catch all these problems. I finally quit reading the book about halfway through (or threw ;)

I really enjoyed this book it got my attention from the beginning and just couldn't put it down. What I liked the most is that Kennedy was a very normal guy, yes he is rich and sexy and protective but not excessively dominant like other novels where the male protagonist ends up boring you whit his negative attitude and trauma from the past. I also liked that Hope accepted everything that comes whit the man, his past, his help, his money and gifts like any normal girl in her situation would do. This is not a Cinderella kind of novel, is about two people with different backgrounds that fall in love.

I am always nervous about writing a review, after all, in the end, it's simply my opinion but I found this story to be everything I want in my romance. Great writing that flowed with few grammatical errors, engaging characters that felt real and made me care what happened to them and just enough mush mixed with hot sexy goodness to keep my mind and hormones raging. I was lucky enough to get this for free but feel it would have been well worth the money had I paid for it...If you like a hot brooding alpha male, a fun, slighly insecure female lead with just enough angst and sex to keep it more than interesting that you will enjoy this story as well....happy reading :)

The book didn't capture my attention and keep it. I thought the characters and situations were described in a hurried way that didn't allow the reader to feel the emotion. I wouldn't recommend this one to friends.

What a horrible read. The first 60% is them flying back and forth every weekend, and having sex, dinner and shopping. Or him working and sending her to a spa or shopping..... The only drama, up to that point is a man wanting to hook up and Kennedy seeing him grab her and comes to her aid, and them spending Thanksgiving with her family..... that's the whole book in a nutshell up to 60%! It jumped around from her POV, to his POV, within a paragraph and you're like "what the heck?" Then it seemed to shift to 3rd person POV. Back to 1st.... ugh! Horrible. There's no story..... so I gave up on it.

What can I say. Vi sure knows how to write a great book. Hope is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Great qualities you to seem to find anymore. But her step monster mother is just evil and puts her down every chase she gets, so hope is just wanting out. She graduates and lands her dream job at a Hotel in New york. This is where is still leaning to check guest in when walks up to the counter Kennedy. She is baffled and lost for words as she stares at him. But finally gets her job done. He finds her later in the hotel club and they talk. He too feels that spark between them and wants more. Must read

I can't believe my luck stumbling on this gem of a book! It's got all that makes a story that will get you so wrapped up completely and keep you engrossed all the way through the end. It has enough intrigue that makes it all the more interesting, it touched on normal human insecurities and doubts, it's fun and witty and has a lot of delightful passionate romp in bed, wow! ( why can't I find a man like Kennedy? gush! ) This is a poignant sweet love story and a MUST read!

I have read some of Vi Keeland's books before and this one does not disappoint.

I really enjoyed reading how Hope and Kennedy's relationship began and how they dealt with a long distance relationship.

One of the things I enjoy in Vi's books is that there is no major drama. They have their ups and downs but nothing that you want to slap either character upside their heads for acting dumb or blind.
