I imagined this pen, especially in it's "bullet' form, to be nearly indestructible. It does have a very tough finish, but unfortunately, it will dent, and then that durable finish is deformed. Not scratched, but deformed.
I admit to nit-picking, but it is the only flaw I've found after months of ownership. Don't drop it on concrete and it will remain immaculate.
Oh, and it writes good too.
The finish on this one is better for me, not quite as bright and shiny, and the lack of a clip makes it fit better into my pocket without a chance of scratching my phone.
...and of course it has the same consistent, smooth ink flow as all the space pens do, regardless of writing position. In short: recommended.
The color is EXTREMELY durable. I have it in my pocket every day with coins and keys and there is not a single scratch. I have a small dent at the tip from a very bad drop, but the finish is unmarred. I've owned these for years and only replace them when I lose them (which is about once every other year). I've actually never had one fail on me or even run out of ink.
When closed the pen is about half the length of a normal pen but when you open it and place the cap back on it's a full sized pen. The writing is smooth and fluid.
I will note it's not perfect to me. The ink can smear a little and I wish they had a finer point but I'll make due with those minor issues for now given how small and comfortable this pen is. One word of note - it's a bit slick and can/will slide out of your pocket occasionally. I tend to keep it in my cargo pocket or in the front pocket of jeans so it's only slipped out once since then but it is worth noting.
- no fine point
- easy to lose from your pocket (or easier than other pens)
Overall, very very pleased. I'd buy again but maybe look a little more to see if there was a fine-point option or to get one of the ones with a clip to add more texture to it.
This pen does not leak. Works every time in freezing cold or extremely hot conditions. Will not ruin clothes pockets or bags when stored. Many have gone through the washing machine and dryer over the years.
I often gift Bullet Pens to Colleages. Besides always working regardless of conditions, the Black Titaniun Nitride Bullet Pen is extremely confortable and an attractive tool.

Been carrying one of these for many years. Great design. Use it a lot for Geocaching.Published 27 days ago by R. Blessing
I personally love the pen. I've tried writing with it under water and works great. The pen looks a lot better in person than it does on the photo. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Amazon Customer
I'm a total Fisher Space Pen fan. I own the AG-7 and a chrome bullet. I've had this pen for a week and I will say that it does not get any scratches at all even jostling around... Read morePublished 3 months ago by Amer-Scotsman
I do not like this near as much as my matte black Fisher space pen, and this costs significantly more. Read morePublished 3 months ago by temetvince
I love this thing. Carry it all the time. Can be a little skinny if you're thinking of writing with it for extended periods, but super convenient.Published 4 months ago by Chuck
Shows every fingerprint (ugly), feels cheap in the hand, and I have 20 cent disposable pens that write easier. It's small, but I would say that is its only redeeming quality. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Brian
The best pen there is in any form because it writes well in any condition or at any angle. I like the bullet because it's a pants pocket pen, not a shirt pocket pen. Read morePublished 5 months ago by TXgardener
