The Happy Giraffe Bouncer provides your baby with a safe, comfortable place to rest, play, and enjoy the pleasures of physical movement. A fun-filled toy bar keeps your baby entertained with three playful friends, two fun tunes, animal sounds, activities to explore, and rattles, jingles and bells galore to keep the party hoppin'. While strapped in the seat, your baby can kick his legs and bounce up and down, strengthening his leg muscles in preparation for standing and walking.
Colors and Sounds Stimulate Your Baby's Senses
With its bright graphics, friendly faces, music, and sounds, the Happy Giraffe Bouncer encourages the healthy development of your baby's visual and auditory skills. At the same time, the design of the toy invites your baby to reach, grasp, bat, and tug, enhancing eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills.
Encourages Independent, Exploratory Play
The Happy Giraffe Bouncer inspires your baby to initiate play and interaction on her own, which helps introduce her to the concept of cause and effect. Your baby can pull the lion ring to start the music, bat at the colorful plush hippo, monkey, and lion hanging from above, and hear four sounds when she pulls on the lion's string (one meow, one growl, and two songs).
Designed to Promote Comfort and Security for Your Baby
Versatile enough to be a play spot or a rest spot, the Happy Giraffe Bouncer can help amuse your baby when she's ready for some fun, help wind her down after a busy day, or help her drift off into dreamland. Its soft, cushy seat--complete with charming felt mane and cute giraffe ears--supports your baby and encourages relaxation, while its three-point restraint and non-skid feet keep your baby safely in place. To promote rest or sleep, simply remove the toy bar and turn on the calming vibrations.
Easy, Safe Use Provides Peace of Mind for Parents
As delightful as the Happy Giraffe Bouncer is for babies, it's also chock full of perks to please moms and dads. The lightweight removable toy bar makes for easy and immediate access to your baby, and the seat pad is machine washable for quick cleanup and sanitization. This bouncer also provides you with a safe, pleasant place to put your baby when you're cooking, cleaning, or taking a moment to relax.

The Happy Giraffe Bouncer can safely hold a child weighing up to 25 pounds and is intended for use from birth until the child is able to sit up unassisted.

When he was really tiny and new I would just strap him in it for naps. The seat kind of props baby up on an incline, so it was wonderful for him to nap in since he had a lot of gas and reflux. The vibration on the bouncer was soothing then and I still use it now at 5 months old to help him drift off if he is fighting sleep.
I really like that the toy bar detaches, for the first couple months I never put it on.
Once my son got to about 3 months he started reaching for the toys more - he couldn't quite get to them, but he liked looking at them and batting at them. A few weeks later he was able to reach the toys and he has had a blast with them ever since.
The lion makes two noises and plays two songs, the songs are fine, good length, peppy - my son LOVES the songs. The noises are a meow and a purr, which are cute but too short - I agree with the reviewer who wished it was four songs.
The 'feet' of the bouncer do kind of stick out awkwardly and you can stub your toe on them. Overall I still like the design of the feet though, because the bouncer bounces really easily. If my son stirs in his sleep at all, for example, the bouncer sways a little bit from the movement, and it soothes him. I also often put my foot on the foot of the bouncer and rock my son while reading on the computer or whatever. It is so handy.
At 5 and a half months old, my son STILL really likes his bouncer. During the day, when he's awake and I need to clean up quickly or put on some make up or something, I will put him in it with the toys and he has a fabulous time rattling the rattles and making the lion sing to him!Read more ›
Pros: This item is easy to put together and take apart for transporting and it is lightweight, making it very portable. It's also pretty sturdy and has a "harness" strap so I feel comfortable leaving the baby in it. We set it down wherever we are and it usually occupies the little one for 20-30 min, or maybe more if she chooses to take a nap in it. The toy bar is removable so you can use it like a little seat if you want. There is also a vibrating function, though I have not used this personally. The biggest pro is that our baby seems to love it, and it is one of the more reasonably priced bouncers with all of the basic functions.
Cons: The base is made of metal rods that curve around, but the problem is that they are wider than the bouncer itself (in the photo it's where the green rubber covers the white metal rods) so we, and anyone else who visits, are constantly tripping over the bouncer if we're not careful. The worst is when we get the metal part caught between our toes and then trip - I honestly thought I broke my toes a few times... ouch! It seems that a solid base design or at least some panels to cover the sides would be much safer since I'm not about to put this on an elevated surface to avoid tripping over it.Read more ›
We have friends with babies who have different bouncy seats, and my husband and I are so glad we have this one. It's a little deeper than the others we've seen, with higher sides, so our son seems (to us) to be more secure. The seat is positioned deeply enough that he's able to really move his legs, which isn't the case with others we've tried. The metal base is a little wider than the seat, with rubber corners, so the whole thing is very stable -- again, more so than others we've seen. The weight balance makes us more comfortable picking up the seat with our son in it than we do with other bouncers. The safety restraint is excellent.
And, most importantly, my son can really make himself BOUNCE in this thing!! :o)
