This toy has been a hit with my 17 month old son. It plays three songs and a few noises just by pressing Elmo's hat.

Let's make something good to eat. The recipe will tell us what we need. Roastin', toastin', cookin', bakin'. It's amazing what we're making. Cookin', cookin', now we're really cookin'. Cookin', cookin' now we're making something fun.

Breakfast is the first meal of the day. It's important to get started in such a great way. With your oatmeal, fruit, eggs, and toast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Alphabet soup song.

My 14 month old daughter and 3 1/2 year old son both are loving this. It has no small parts for my daughter to swallow and the music really doesn't make me want to kill myself even after lots of repititions, amazing!

My 2 year old loves her Elmo...and her toy kitchen. So I got this for her birthday to keep on the fridge and play while I get meals done. Pros: Elmo has lots of songs & phrases, keeps her entertained, and the pots and pans make her "cooking" time fun. Cons: The toy keeps slipping down-down-down the fridge door, and I have to keep sliding it up so the pots & pans don't drag on the floor. The pegs that the pots & pans hang on are awfully short - not even an inch long -- which means that they'll fall off if the door is opened or closed in a hurry. The pegs are straight, too, so "hanging" them takes patience & a sense of balancing them (not something my 2 year old quite has). The "recipe cards" that come with the toy contributed to the sliding, so they're clipped with a fridge magnet....she doesn't look at them anyway. Overall, it's not a really bad toy...just has a lot of things that could've done better.

Our fifteen month old triplets like to follow us into the kitchen when we go in there to cook or make their bottles, so I thought this would be a fun thing for them to play with while we work in the kitchen. It did not take long at all for this toy to become a huge favorite of all three kids. They hang out in the kitchen long after I leave playing with this on the fridge. The songs are not at all annoying, like some kids' toys are, and the volume level is perfect. I have no trouble at all understanding what Elmo is saying, unlike some of the other reviewers. The kids just really have an absolute blast with this and we are REALLY impressed with the quality. This thing is sturdy and really takes a beating. The other day I was loading the dishwasher and one of my daughters, after seeing what I was doing, followed suit and tossed the plastic spatula and spoon that come with Elmo into the dishwasher's utensil basket. Awesome. Any toy that helps teach the kids to do my housework gets five stars automatically!

2 year old got for christmas. she has never played with it. we hung right beside her little kitchen, and she took the spoon/spatula off and then the bowls. she uses the bowls to put snacks in sometimes, but otherwise, this was a useless toy. should have just got her a bowl set.

I bought these to go along with the Cookie Monster Kitchen Cafe' which I bought for my 2 year old great nephew. He LOVES both. These pots and pans have a magnet so they had on the fridge in the kitchen. As with most Fisher-Price items, the quality is good, colors are vibrant and they sound great when they sing.

Only two songs and they are a little short but granddaughter loves it and we move it from place to place -- strong enough magnet that it stays pretty much in place, yet she can pull it off and carry it around.

I got this for my 1.5 year old niece who loves it (she asks for "Emo.") Her 3.5 year old sister gets a kick out of, too, as does the 9 year old boy and myself! (The two of us danced quite a bit to the tunes.) I'm still singing the breakfast song. (Though we had to google the words because we swore he sings "roastin', toastin', corn, and bacon".) Love this toy!
