My son is insane about Thomas the Tank engine. We try to get him as much Thomas toys as we can, but they're so expensive as you're sort of just paying for a brand/name.Here's a tip for all you parents trying to save some $$$. Do what I did and buy ONE Thomas car and get the rest from smaller companies.Here's what I bought him:1. Wooden Train Tracks 55 Pieces Full Pack - Deluxe Real Beech Wood SetThis is a train track set that I bought from a smaller company which I found to be comparable to any other track you'll find online but for a bit cheaper than the big brands.2. The Premium 12 Pcs Wooden Engines & Train Cars Collection With 3 Extra Animals + Free Gift Box DesignFrom their page I also saw this 12-piece car set which works really well with the Thomas rail-car. Again, my son thinks it's all Thomas stuff, and he gets 13 pieces in total including Thomas (which was already bought earlier.)3. Double Suspension Bridges - 2 SetLast one I got. A double suspension bridge, great quality.So yeah, buy a Thomas car and get the rest from smaller brands and save yourself a fortune. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if all this stuff came from the same factory anyways.

This is a train track set that I bought from a smaller company which I found to be comparable to any other track you'll find online but for a bit cheaper than the big brands.
