The blade that comes with this is terrible. I got through 2 projects, cutting one layer of cotton broadcloth for two baby sized quilts. It got to the point where it wasn't even cutting anymore, so I caved an bought a new blade. It was a night and day difference. The new blade has lasted about 4 projects, my most recent one requiring 4 uniform cuts through 9 layers of fabric. I will have to change the blade after this project.
The blades are way too expensive, especially when the first one will need to be replaced right away. Overall, it is a nice little rotary cutter.
I agree with other reviewers there is some small wobble, but I just use consistent pressure on a ruler to get a straight enough cut (I previously used a box-cutter). All paper cutters have some flaw or wobble. Only large, industrial paper-cutters costly big $$$ wouldn’t have this problem.
