I was tired of the standard exacto knife system where you turn the pressure nut or whatever it is called. When I used those I tended to not change out the blade as often as I should have. With this Fiskar system it is super easy to change the blade. The blade is held secure and doesn't move or become loose while I am using it.
The grip itself may not be for everyone. My wife didn't like using it, but I found it very comfortable.
If you get this you should look at picking up some generic blades. I picked up a pack of 100 for just a few bucks here on Amazon.
