on very well. The problem with holes is that then my knees are getting filthy. In muddy soil it's the worse. I've also lugged around
a garden pad. These knee pads are fairly comfortable and solve my hole problems and are easier for me than the garden pad.
I've used them in the mud and on hard surfaces. Have only had them for a couple months but find they are now part of my
garden routine. I had looked at gel pads but they are four times the price. These stay in place and are worth trying for the price.
EDIT: 7/9/13 - The straps on these pads are a bit long and barely have enough velcro that attaches when I put them on. Now after
use the straps have stretched a bit and the pads don't stay in place. Another reviewer mentioned sewing a two inch section of straps.
I'm lazy and don't have a sewing machine so am going to try shortening the straps with duct tape.
These kneepads offer good protection, stay in place well, wash off easily, and have proved to be durable. They are comfortable when standing up even though they are contoured. I often forget to take them off when I make a quick trip to the store while gardening. I am using my first pair for the second season and while they are far from worn out I decided to buy another pair now so I will have them when needed.
