I purchased this with the intention of cutting origami paper into smaller sheets. It does the job well, however origami paper is very thin. If you're intending to cut thick paper like cardstock, I can't imagine the blades would last very long, as many other reviewers are pointing out.The cutter doesn't run along the track super smoothly, I fixed this by applying a drop of lubricant on both sides of the track. It runs smoothly now. I knew purchasing lubricant would come in handy one day!The measurements on the arm that swivels out are not super accurate, they were off somewhere between a 16th to a 32nd of an inch. These measurements are printed on a sheet of thin plastic, I was able to remove the two sheets and stick them back on more accurately. This took around 30 minutes. (I don't anticipate needing to use the arm at all, but I had nothing better to do).The product pictures are hiding the fact that the measurements around 3-4 inches are sunken down a little (see picture) so that you can swivel the arm out. That makes these measurements a little harder to align to whatever you're cutting.Other than that, the blue leafy design printed on the surface is ugly as shit.
