The Fiskars Ultra Light Kneelers Knee pads are very easy to wear. I put them on in the morning to do landscaping, gardening, tile laying, household chores, construction projects, and painting. And 10 hours later, my knees are still ready for more work. I scrub them off each evening with a brush and soap and water. The strap wraps below the bend in the back of the knee which makes them so easy to wear. I even forget that I have them on. Mine are 3 years old and going strong with possibly 3000+ hours of use. Use good common sense for their use and cleaning and you should have knee friends for a long time.

I do a lot of my gardening on my knees as I find it easier on my bad back. Until I purchased Fiskars Kneelers Knee Pads I used a pad that I knelt on. The problem with the pad, of course, is that you have to get up before moving to a new spot. It is much easier to garden with the knee pads attached to your legs. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I am attaching a photo under customer photos that I will be referencing in this review.

The photo shows both sides of the knee pads. The top image shows the outer shell of the pad that touches the ground. It is made out of thick (slight under 1/2 inch) rubberized material which provides cushioning and protection from moisture.

The bottom image show the inside part of the knee pad, which is made with soft black non-slippery material. The cavity of the knee pad is 4.75 inches wide, and 7 inches long. It can be made more narrow by tightening the knee straps or wider by pressing on it with the knee because it flexes.

Each knee pad has a rubber band which holds the knee pad to the leg. Each band is 20 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. At each end of the rubber band there is 3.5 inches of Velcro so you can adjust the pad based on the size of your leg. If your legs are particularly skinny you can sew in additional Velcro strip so you can close it tighter. If your legs are thicker you can add another piece of rubber band with more Velcro. I consider myself an average size woman and I got a perfect fit with and without long pants on.

The knee pads are easy to clean by washing them with a hose. They are solidly made and feel like a good quality item.

Fiskars offers lifetime warranty for the knee pads.

These are the best knee pads I have found, they are easy to put one, and so very comfortable, you hardly know you have them on, and they pretty much stay in place..I bought 3 pairs, one to keep in my barn, for when I work in my garden, and one for household use, when I have to get down on my arthritic knees, and another pair for my Daughter..I highly recommend them.

Purchased them last August and LOVED them!

Started using them again this year, maybe 1/2 dozen times so far, and one of the knee pads flattened out. They are kept on shelf in my garage and nothing is placed on top of them. Went in the other morning and one was perfectly FLAT! They are still wearable but awkward and annoying if you are getting up and down a lot.

I also clean houses for a living! We wear these 5 days a week 9 hours a day. They are extremely durable and last and last! The only reason I need new ones is because the velcro is giving out, not the pad itself. But that is after 3 years!

I can't believe people complain about the strap being too long. Take 2 seconds and tie a single knot in the strap, and LOOK AT THAT!!! The strap is shorter and it fits perfectly!!!

I wore these on an archaeological dig. However, the velcro straps got a bit uncomfortable behind my knees after a time. Also, the inside linings peeled off (I used them extensively in the heat, so it was probably from my sweat/extensive use). The pads themselves held up acceptably. These are probably better suited for the casual gardener than for the archaeologist, but they were cheap, so no complaints there.

These kneelers are soft and comfortable--but the elastic is just too long for me. That is, the overlap with the velcro ends overlaps too far and misses the sticky part. So I can't get them snug enough to be very secure. But then I'm smaller (if not really skinnier, sadly enough) than most people. If they fit right, I think they'd be really nice under-knee.
