SETUP: Actual time to unbox and build was 47 minutes by myself. It comes with all the tools and parts you need and 2 AAA batteries. This can be a one person job but would be faster with two people. The box is about 58 pounds and the bike is around 50 pounds total.
BODY SIZE: The maximum weight for a person on this bike is 250 pounds. The shortest you can be is around 5'4 and only if you have longer legs. My wife who is 5'4 can only just reach the pedals with the seat in the lowest position. I am 5'10 and can ride this comfortably. I think a much taller person would be okay on this bike.
ACTUAL USE: The bike is like an old fashioned exercise bike with a knob for resistance. The bike is a bit shaky even after tightening every bolt and screw and the seat still shakes a bit so make sure you have this on a flat stable surface when you ride it. The resistance can be varied from very light to very tough and you can get very sweaty using this bike.
The desk moves forward and backward and can tilt with easy adjustment and can hold even a large gaming laptop up to 19 inches! There is a adjustable stand for books or ipads (see pictures) built into the desk surface.
The built in meter is removable and keeps track of time/ distance/ calories for you but is super basic and powered by two included AAA batteries.
You need to use the included strap to secure your laptop to the desk or it can fall off!
COMFORT: There is a padded seat and padded back that are average comfort.
OVERALL: This is a decent option for exercise while you work on a laptop or ipad but is NOT good for shorter people about 5'4 and below. The build quality is just average. Buy this if you need a budget exercise bike but lower your expectations!

+ No need to dowload an app or anything, except follow the printed instructions.
It took the teenagers about an hour of messing around and making a mess (see pics), but they got it all together and working.
The 15yr old said that it is pretty intuitive and he didn't feel there was a need for the instructions at all.
The 17yr old said he was glad to read the instructions for a couple of tweaks to ensure they had something facing the correct direction.
-- My wife is 5'3" and cannot adequately reach the pedals at the lowest setting.
Three of our four teenagers and myself are all over 5'6", so no issues on our part reaching the pedals, but anyone shorter cannot get a full rotation without using their tippy-toes to push.
+ I've had "desk" bikes before and though not exactly recumbent (it does stand upright at a high angle), I do not hit my knees at 5'10".
+ I can push the desk away or closer to me.
The closest setting I don't feel like I'm having to put myself in an uncomfortable position to reach the keyboard and type well enough. For someone who is taller and/or has longer arms (or a really big girth) can push the table away and have it at a more comfortable distance.
+ The computer seems to work fine.
Speed (mph), Distance (miles or KM...not sure why no option with Speed to switch between mph and kph), Calories burned, and an odometer.
> You can adjust the tension.
Other bikes I've had, each turn of the knob (sometimes only 8 settings/turns) makes noticeable changes to the tension. This one you have to turn, turn, turn to get it tighter or looser. This may deserve a + rating instead of a neutral> rating since it allows for more fine-tuning of the tension...but I wasn't a fan of the amount of turning I had to do. Then again...maybe the boys put something together wrong or the tension knob isn't meant to work that way and I have a lemon.
+ Nice wide saddle and I did not find myself rocking back and forth much while pedaling.
I could sit comfortably and type without feeling like I was moving my torso and arms much.
> I think I would have preferred the bike computer mounted in the middle of the table bar where I could see it when I have a laptop on the table.
Right now, I have to close the laptop to see the computer. No biggie, but mounted on the bar somewhere, just in the middle and above the pedals would have been preferred.
+ Table has handles so you can grip them if pedaling faster and need something to stabilize you more.
+ Can be folded up and stored with very little footprint (see pic).
You could literally store this in a closet. If you needed to, the chair comes off easy enough and that makes storing not so tall of a device.
I'm happy with this product and that I can work/study and still be moving.
